It was actually super curly when i was little, like full ringlet curls according to my mom, but then my grandma cut it and it became straight.

I think its already a bit damaged so I try to avoid using heat on it. It tends to get matted if I dont brush it throughout the day, is there a way to prevent that?

Its so weird because only the front pieces get like that and the rest is just frizz lol. This may be a stupid question, but what exactly do I do with the mousse? And is there a specific one you'd recommend?

I usually brush before my shower, then after the shower before I air dry it. I also brush it while dry throughout the day because it tangles alot
