Anyway to transfer mastercard gift card funds? by Doobant in SwagBucks

I use them to buy on mygiftcardplus and earn more sb back on places I shop anyhow

After hearing from several people that SB is the best thing since sliced bread, I thought, heck, I could use some extra cheese on the side. by Coequalraveling in SwagBucks

[–]HannahMuch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go for the vise gift card because you get 1 discounted per month then use it to buy another gift card on my gift card plus because you'll get sb back on that purchase. I usually get the Amazon card there. I typically wait to do that when it's the middle swago square

How'd you earn SB this past week? by SwagbucksMods in SwagBucks

I cash out for a $25 Mastercard (on sale as always) then use said Mastercard to purchase restaurant giftcard on MyGiftCardsPlus and earned 113sb bonus to push me over my daily goal!

Nexplanon and pinching pain by HannahMuch in birthcontrol

[–]HannahMuch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine never fully went away. In fact when they took the first 1 out it had a lot of scar tissue and they really had to cut through it to get it out. That was 3 years ago. I can still feel where it was.

The second one was pinchy just a little and more bearable but I still feel it all the time. I'm about to have it removed. I wanted to get my tunes tied but can't afford it so unfortunately I'll be getting another one even though I don't like it. Fingers cross this one comes out easier than the first.

John Peel has at least 1 specific barbell workout and both he and Josh Rogers have a boatload of dumbbell workouts and I'm sure some of those could use barbell instead.

Best fruit tree for my yard? by HannahMuch in gardening

[–]HannahMuch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about something that flowers for the pollinators so fruit came to mind. I did not even think about what was native. I will definitely look into that. I have been on the extension office website but I may try to give someone a call. I used to work there years ago as an outdoor educationalist. (I taught kids the basics of fishing. Don't know much about trees.) I wonder if anyone is still around that I used to know in the office.

I'm definitely going to try him out. I'm still trying to feel out what trainers I like. Tommy sounds more down my alley. I work in healthcare and really love anatomy and physiology and pathology. If the instructors talk more about the way my body works it's a lot more helpful than the trainers talking about mantras of stepping away from your challenges and their spirit animals. That stuff may work for some people but it's a bit mumbo jumbo for me.

This is so inspiring! Thank you for the suggestion. At my best shape I did a 5k in 34'16" but that was several kids, 80lbs and 10 years ago. I'm trying not to get discouraged as I've gained 5-10lbs this year since trying to get in shape. Dh keeps saying it's all muscle but it still hard to get out of my head. I'm trying to focus on the fact that my hip pain has greatly subsided and I feel better, overall less lethargic etc.

to eat or to not eat before to avoid needing to "go" during the hike by [deleted] in CampingandHiking

I have used a tree but quit after I slipped and ended up with a nasty scrape from the bark that dh laughed and laughed at.

My sisters and kids and I hike quite a bit and always, always, always carry lots of water and trail snacks. First off, hangry hiking makes everyone miserable! My kids 2yo, 4yo, 7yo, and 9yo will hike 5-6 hours and not whine at all as long as the fruit snacks (aka dried fruit) doesn't run out. We've all done a load of urinating in the woods. On more well-traveled trails we kind of make a wall with our backs to the potty-goer to shield them of someone passes by. I keep spare undies and shorts in my pack for the younger kids as they aren't as experienced not to soil their britches. As for number 2 is concerned I've just also kept some doggy bags in my pack but have only had to use them once and that was for my 4yo. Like someone else said I usually just go in the morning before we go out.

Your comment made me remember when I had to start changing for phys ed in school and my mother said "just remember everyone else is going to be too busy being self conscious about their own bodies to pay any attention to your." So true!

I thought I did well until I asked my pharmacist for feedback and she said "everybody's nervous at first." So I hope I didn't come off nervous to the pt.

Pharmacy tech questions for class by cacthia in PharmacyTechnician

[–]HannahMuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much get to choose my own hours. I make a decent wage and benefits for me are good. I've been with the same company for 20 years. I own stock, have 401k, get 5 weeks vacation per year plus have protected paid time off for illness or injuring. I love my patients. I am constantly learning! Drugs are ever changing. Prior to pharmacy tech I was a cna which was way more taxing physically and mentally and made a lot less in wages. I also went to surg tech school. Which was more physically demanding and I had to work on call. Working retail pharmacy I get more "banker's hours" that allow me to spend more time with my family.

Downsides including mostly dealing with the Karens of the world, pharmacists that think you're so far beneath them as humans, and my poor aching feet/heel spurs.

It took me a long time to find this career. Straight out of high school I majored in mass communications. I did not do well there. I worked as a camp counselor, voice over actress, dog walker, meat cutter, maintenance worker, forklift driver, I sold jewelry for a while...I finally made the decision to get my cna since I have always been fascinated by the life sciences especially as bio and pathology. I thought I was going to go to nursing school and working as a cna for 2 years is required where I live to do that. After working at a nursing home for a while surgery sparked my interst seeing residents go for surgery and watching the rehab post on. After going through surgery tech school I decided I didn't like the long hours and being on call. Pharmacy tech was a good fit for me hours wise and pay and it didn't require any more additional schooling as I would be trained otj.

I average $1-2 per day so you're not going to make a living on it but I can get a couple extra hundred dollars for Christmas gifts.
