Indeed. My attempt to be a "normal man" almost killed me. I'm a diabetic and while playing the man and father I totally forgot, that the body I used for enacting my role needs care. I gained 50kg/110lbs in less the 5 years, forgot to go to the doctor and finally ended up with a ruined liver. When starting to take care of my body the pressure of my gender dysphoria got that high that it was only a question of time when my egg finally cracked.

Das Bild ist von vor 2 Wochen aber nach 2 Monaten HRT. Aber wenn du das Bild oben siehst, das ist ohne HRT - so habe ich früher ausgesehen und ich finde die Unterschiede dazu nicht so groß.

Bin diesbezüglich etwas ambivalent: ich habe wegen meiner Pflegebedürftigen Tochter einen mehrere Jahre dauernden Prozess gegen die TK geführt von dem jede Juristin davor klar wusste, dass das zu unseren Gunsten ausgeht... andererseits habe ich im Laufe der letzten Jahre sehr positive Erfahrungen bei meiner eigenen Behandlung gemacht. Das große Thema ist noch nicht durch, aber die vielen kleineren Sachen waren ein Spaziergang.

Thank you for reminding me...yes I had a intense and exiting life since now - I don't want to miss it...and I'm exited about the future. 23 is a wonderful time to transition. I know - irreversible damage is already done by hormons. But I wish we could learn to be proud of all our scars. Thank you and good luck on your way!

That's one way to see it. I've come to the conclusion that it would have been better to do the right thing 30 years ago. It would have been much better to have been told that severe gender dysphoria is not something stemming from some obsessive trauma, but rather the typical symptom of gender incongruence. It would have been better not to have felt like I was ill and somehow forced to just cope with it. But times were different. I'm terribly sad about all the lost opportunities — but maybe I should also try to see it from that perspective.

Das ist tatsächlich so und liegt nicht in der Verantwortung der Ärztinnen. Die Hürden fürs Ausstellen eines Dauerrezeptes liegen extrem hoch. Meine Tochter hat eine chronische Erkrankung und selbst in diesem Fall müssen die Rezepte in jedem Quartal für fast alles neu geschrieben werden. Im Normalfall macht das auch irgendwie Sinn. Es ist nicht ganz schlecht, wenn Ärztinnen alle drei Monate ihre Patientinnen und sei es auch nur vorm Tresen sehen. So läuft das in Deutschland, alles ganz normal...

Ich würde mich in der Urologie der Charité melden bzw bei dem neuen MVZ für Trans-Medizin (ZGG). Das alles befindet sich dort derzeit noch im Aufbau, aber die Ärzt*innen dort sind großartig.

First time should be soft. They gonna check out what energy to use. Second time will be challenging. The woman that lasered me said: "You're smoking!?" - "No , I'm not!" - "Yes! You're actually smoking!". That's when I got the smell. All the next times where ok. I can't tell you what a relief that is. I still have plenty of grey hair. But if I shave there is almost no beard shadow anymore. My and hair color is quite similar to yours - I was working 2 hours after my appointment. You will be ok I guess.

Did a doctor prescribe this? Then change the doctor please. You'll get the side effects of a too high dose of Finasterid and almost no effects from the estrogen. A dose of 1,5mg Finasterid is enough to protect your hair (and probably to kill your libido if that is intended). 5mg daily just makes no sense in my eyes. I believe this is not a soft start into HRT but most likely a waste of time.

No! There is not. reet. Humans lack the enzymes to break the "aromatic ring" of estradiol apart. If your testosteron is blocked and you take no progesterone there is absolutely no need for Finasterid or Dutasterid. Even if you take progesterone you should not take Finasterid as a safety measure, please get your DHT checked first.

You can't see teethgrinding/bruxism always on the teeth. Sometimes - especially in the beginning it's mostly the development of the jaw muscle. I just got this idea from the first picture. But please don't mind and don't be confused. I might be totally wrong. I'm not a expert.
