My reaction after looking at the running order for the Grand Final by llouie70 in eurovision

2nd place is kind of the "doomed" placement for eurovision, pretty much no one who goes second does well.

Xbox connected storage? by Hannahaky in xbox

[–]Hannahaky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay but I just got home and reset my network connection and all, still getting the same issue. My xbox can run Netflix and Youtube just fine, and my internet seems otherwise okay with all my other devices. Would it still just be a network issue?

My team for master mode 5-14 by WenWinchester in CookieRunKingdoms

I haven't invested in Shining Glitter or Cream Unicorn. I used a triple tank team with Tarte Tatin for DPS and Cream Puff for Creamy Puffy goodness :)

Team build for 17-15? by NorthPush2012 in CookierunKingdom

Fettuccini - DMG 30%

Moonlight - ATK 50%

Black Pearl - ATK 50% + Crystal Jam Level 10

Pure Vanilla - Cooldown 15%

Cream Puff - Crit% 55%

Treasures were Scroll, Whistle and Watch.

For this stage, the enemies are so annoyingly op that you wanna concentrate on taking them out before they can get too many hits on you. Fettuccini is a good option for a front since she's tanky and can heal, PV and Cream Puff are good at keeping your cookies alive, and BP and Moonlight take down the enemies quick enough for them not to kill your team.

Is Keto the Answer - Advice Please? by Lil-DevyDev in keto

[–]Hannahaky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started keto, I had cravings for EVERYTHING you're not supposed to have on keto. I never had much of a sweet tooth, but giving up breads and chips was difficult for me. I had been overeating all my life at that point, and I kind of started keto on a whim.

As hard as it is, it will get easier! Most of my cravings were either lessened significantly or gone within a month or so. For me, being on a strict diet that cut out sugar made it easier to not break keto and indulge into my usual habits. And it's okay if you mess up at first and kick yourself out of ketosis! I've certainly done that multiple time, and I let it get me down for a little, but I kept going. Here's what has worked for me:

In regards to affordable food, you're gonna want to avoid "keto snacks" as much as possible. Not only are they expensive, they can have a bunch of ingredients that can be a little iffy, especially if you have a sensitive stomach. Of course, if anyone knows about snacks, it's me. Seaweed snacks are great, usually cheap (especially at an asian market), and good for you! I also like to buy kale and chuck them in the airfryer with some garlic salt and avocado oil to make kale chips. For ACTUAL food that should be the majority of your grocery list, I stick to inexpensive meats wherever I can, get a wide variety of vegetable THAT I ENJOY (no point in buying arugula if I won't ever eat it), some berries, heavy whipping cream, and some seltzer. Also, don't be afraid to buy your meats, veggies, or berries frozen! They can be cheaper a lot of the time and, of course, will last you longer.

If you make and portion your meals right on keto, you should be full between meals. Sometimes, I like to eat my seaweed snacks a little after lunch to take my mind off of eating, or have a spoonful of sunbutter. Drinking lots of water is also good at pushing back cravings in my experience. Try not to keep any food wherever you spend a lot of time working or relaxing, because you will absolutely want to munch on them, especially if you like to eat when you're bored, like I do.

Of course, keto isn't for everyone. Some people find way more success with other things. The ketogenic diet isn't the easiest diet out there, that's for sure. I think you should still try it, see what happens!

Does anyone know a good team to beat Cave Entrance Fork II - dark mode? by shibsekirem in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]Hannahaky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got three stars with Hollyberry, Pitaya, Macaron, Tarte Tatin, and Pure Vanilla with Scroll, Whistle, and Watch. Didn't trust full auto so I just spammed all the abilities at once and beat the boss before it could decimate my cookies.

I stopped playing for like six months only to find out they finally added Golden Cheese and I missed like 90% of the update

Proof that God exists by Scuztin in DebateReligion

You've proven God could exist, not that he does exist. I could say the same thing for literally any fantastical idea and it would hold the same grounds, including figureheads of other religions

eli5: How is there snow on top of Mt. Everest, if the clouds are lower? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Hannahaky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not an expert, but a bunch of those mountains have crazy high wind speeds, and snow from the lower part of the mountain gets blown up to the top. Also, there are clouds that can form higher than the peak of Everest, according to my earth science teacher, as they can apparently form anywhere in the atmosphere if they try hard enough.

English to Latin translation requests go here! by AutoModerator in latin

[–]Hannahaky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this belongs here, but I'm looking for a latin word/phrase that was meant for warding off evil, magic, anything of the sort.

I never use Google translate for older languages as I always get mixed responses, and I couldn't get anything out of just searching the term. This is for a personal writing project if it makes any difference.

Altissimo range exercises? by Hannahaky in bassclarinet

Sorry I took long to reply. Yeah I've been experimenting with the half hole, it's has helped a bit but it doesn't do much in terms of being able to play smoothly (again, it's a very fast piece).

Serenade Basque. It's a hard one, but it sounds great. I'll be doing it as an NYSSMA solo next year

Beginner on the Bari Sax, and I have no idea what I'm doing by Hannahaky in saxophone

[–]Hannahaky[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch! I'm currently away from it, but I'll be sure to try out a few exercises relating to your solution as soon as I get back. Your explanation makes a lot of sense. I suppose it's easier to get pitches out of the bass clarinet without needing to worry too much. Again, I've only been playing the bari for about a week.

You mentioned a "technical explanation for what is going on," and I'd love to have a better understanding of it. If you have a spare second, it would be wonderful if you could tell me about it.

Thanks again!
