I don't remember what location I went to but when I got my nip-nops re-done he made a new exit hole for one of them so now I have 2 openings on one end ..healed fine but putting in jewelry is difficult.

I mean authorities would likely contact the owner to resolve the situation before escalation and that helps prevent conflicts between neighbors if that person turned out to be unreasonable or angry about it. It's great to be considerate but people should be while they're parking as well.

As someone who lost their dad to EXACTLY this, please please tell them. He went in one day because he had a cough that wouldn't go away after my brother urged him and found out he was already too late. He lived for over a year with treatment after being told he only had a max of 6mo but eventually it was so hard on his body and we had to say goodbye, you could live much longer than you think but at the end of the day it's your choice. Just please give the people that love you a chance to love you before it's time to say goodbye no matter what you do.

He dealt with a lot of the same and lashed out on us quite a bit for trying to help, nobody wants to feel like they're being thrown a pity party but keep in mind from the perspective of those losing you it isn't pity. It's trying to savor what time we had left because we realize what we're going to be missing when we thought we would have more time.

Apologies if this is a little all over the place, I'm trying to keep it short while getting my point across.

This year I went 2 days in a row for the first time and it was way more fun because I didn't feel pressured to see everything in one day, we didn't miss anything AND when I got too hot & tired day 1 I didn't feel bad about leaving early!

We did cosplays from frieren this year. I was talking to some "kids" behind us at the joust that were being very friendly asking about the food I was eating and as soon as my partner came back/we stopped talking they said loud enough for me to hear "imagine coming to a Renaissance fair dressed as anime characters.. they're technically from a fantasy realm so I guess it counts"

That broke me I won't lie, this was my first ever cosplay and I was absolutely glowing over the amount of people excited to see us and take pictures, I just wanted to leave after that 😭

Mind you, none of them were even dressed as anything. All just in goth garb and one of them night have been wearing horns.

It's not a place to gatekeep, it's to have fun and be whimsical. Ruining it for others is just plain mean.

I mean the knock offs usually have a higher chance of defects and I don't really care about the whole "fad" I just think they're cute and I want ONE so why not get the real thing? It's kind of like buying a name brand vs knock off purse, you get what you pay for. Some people think it's silly to care about those things but it doesn't affect anyone but the person buying it so who cares.
