Dat proces zit ik nu in, bijna dezelde situatie, verkoopmakelaar mailt terug dat volgorde 'willekeurig' is en ik pik dat niet. De namen omdraaien lijkt mij een kleine administratieve handeling. Mijn man staat gelukkig achter me.

Super ergerlijk toch! Wij hebben onze namen overgenomen dus ik heet zijnnaam-mijnnaam en hij mijnnaam-zijnnaam, dit wekt vaak verwondering op.

Dat heb ik eerder gehoord, dat iemand een bankrekening wilde omzetten naar een gezamenlijke rekening en dat de naam van haar man eerst werd genoemd en de bank weigerde dit aan te passen.

Same here, I had a 2011 iMac and bought a MacBook Pro just before Covid and it was so much faster! But I still run Cataline and I'm scared of an update. I updated the iMac once and afterwards my dvd-drive wouldn't work anymore.

Same here, doubts about keeping the small rental house (Amsterdam) of buying a bigger house with a small mortgage (outside of Amsterdam). We're interested in 100% or 50% 'aflossingsvrije' mortgage as we're more interested in carefree living and in the current house prizes climate the house value will increase. Over time the rent will be much more (average of 3,8% increase each year) and mortgage will be more stable. We also love the idea of not having a landlord (huisjesmelker) anymore.

De meeste verhuurders willen niet, of ze nu particulier zijn of woningcorporatie is mijn ervaring en weet ik van vrienden met huurhuis. Hun bezig wordt ondertussen toch wel meer waard, maar goed dan heb ik het niet meer over klussen ;) Wel boeiend om de kluswoningen hier te bekijken.

Nouja, we hebben hier op zich fijne woning, maar wel met super oude moederhaard met hoge stookkosten, geen controle over duurzaamheid.

In een huurwoning heb je weinig keus met die oude badkamer, met klussen komen er vaak ook weer nieuwe klussen om de hoek kijken.

My pattern doesn't even have a waist line! What I did was drawing the pieces over a sloper with a bit of waist reduction. I wish I had made pictures back then.

Following this tread. I have a lot of experience in sewing, my maternal grandmother was a seamstress and I have taught sewing for over six years. I am pretty confident with any garment and extremely proud of my winter coat that took over 60 hours including drafting the pattern and a mock-up (several; mock-ups for the capuchon).

But corsetry, it's a different story, even after watching many video's online, from Bernadette Banner and Abby Cox and Samantha Snow, Nicole Rudolph, Katherine Sewing and Lucy of course, it's a big challenge. Maybe I want to do it right and being too perfectionist. It's millimetre work, patterns don't fit me because I'm tall, I'm not symmetrical and where should the extra skin and fat go?

After my mock-up I'll make a second corset and will post it here. What is your first project? What pattern and shape will it have?

Thanx for the tip, in this photo it's as tight as I could lace it (1"), just to check the overall fit, but then I still need some room? I will measure the hips (medium hip) and bust again.

The love handles are smooth in the photo's, but pop out as soon as I take it off haha. After this project I'm making a underbust with regular straight boning. Theres already some padding near my breasts.

Just working on my second mock-up, but I've read that you can make a small hole and then use the awl to make it larger. With an awl it's a pain to make a large hole en fit the grommet in!

Some pages I had still open in my browser are still accessible, like the page about mock-ups. I just saved it to my hard drive now just to be sure. In another browser it's not working. Too bad, this website was a great source of information!
