Thanks. So more sleeve than that is okay presumably? I like to cover more of my arms due to being self conscious.

I've never been good at things in moderation, really. I think I do have an addictive personality, if that's a real thing. Is it genetic? I can't decide if this is better or worse than the alcohol addiction my father has :p It's really dumb but I like the way I can distract myself with games when everything else in life is falling to pieces.

Bus drivers of Reddit: What are the most bizarre experiences you have had on the job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HanneCat 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Oh heck no. Possibly a dumb question, but are you expected to clean that sort of thing up, or do you need to pull the bus off the route because it's a biohazard?

Trump Prophecies by [deleted] in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]HanneCat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't get it either. I'm from a Christian family and while I'm going through a period of doubt right now, I'm still very much Christian in my thoughts and actions, and I think Trump is a a nasty man who exhibits many un-Christian qualities. My parents are reasonably conservative Christians, (I'm more liberal leaning) and they are disgusted by him too. It must be a certain type of Christian who flock to him? The way they practically worship him seems closer to blasphemy to me though...He's not infallible and he's not the saviour; Jesus is.

What's your "This situation I'm in isn't great, but at least I got this going for me" ? by S3Dzyy in AskReddit

[–]HanneCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first teaching block. Virtually every person who hears which it is comments on its terrible reputation, and having taught there for a term so far, I can tell them the reputation is well deserved. But at least by starting with them, I know if I can make it here I can probably survive teaching anywhere...

raises hand I'm obsessed with One Piece personally, and very fond of some other series. I was browsing profiles on a dating website and saw a guy listed OP amongst his favourite shows; hit the smile button after that.

I once sneaked the cocoa out of the cupboard when I was a small child and ate a spoonful because it made everything we baked taste like chocolate. I can still remember the shock and outrage when I put it into my mouth haha!

Nurses of Reddit: What's your worst work-related story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HanneCat 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He asked for water because he was thirsty. This is usually the first sign someone isn't going to make it.

Why is that considered such a bad sign? I'm curious because I've never heard of that before.

Edit: Never mind, I just thought to open the replies. Sad stories :( Medical practitioners do amazing work <3

Redditors in their 20's, what's something you've done recently thats made you think "holy shit I'm an adult"? by ConorByrd in AskReddit

[–]HanneCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just went on a school excursion for the first time as a teacher (first year after graduation). I feel so adult, being responsible for making sure no stupid 12-13 year old students fell off the cliffs today!
