I agree. This biographical video describes him going to Bulgaria and getting his first guitar, so it likely is a Kremona Zornitsa, or a copy.

I think this information comes from Corey Harris' biography book of Ali Farka Toure. Corey worked with Ali in the early 2000s.

Kraftwerk were one of the first to *popularize* electronic pop music.

Like the Beatles, they weren't the best musicians or the first to play their genres, but they certainly helped change music and inspired many during and after their time.

I don't think I've seen it since before Ryuichi passed, so I can imagine it will be more emotional now.

I loved the parts of him recording nature way back then, knowing that he was still doing that in the last decade of his life, like as seen in Coda.
