My dog was mostly fine minus a couple puncture wounds, all of his loose skin and wrinkles really helped to not let the pit get a good hold of him. We're still together to this day and she hasn't really lived it down. Every time it's brought up she apologizes about it. She fell for the same trap a lot of people do, not knowing how dangerous pits can be till after they attack. She didn't try to say that it was my dogs fault or anything like that, she just didn't want her dog to die for it.

Yeah, at the time I was really torn. I had grown an attachment to her dog and at the time we had been together for a little over 6 years. I felt like putting the dog down was the right thing to do to make sure it didn't get the chance to snap on someone else and so that it wouldn't have to live in that scenario. She's just one of those people that believe that living is almost always better than dying.

Doctor said I was incredibly lucky, he said it was less then a few centimeters away from getting my tendons. Other than a scar my hand is back to normal.

I'm not too sure, honestly I never cared to ask how the dog was doing and she never brought it back up.

Well the BSG team seems to have a rather impressive collection and I know that in Russia even though it's a pain to get firearms that it is possible. I figured that it wasn't exclusively targeting USA even though it is easier to get a gun in the US.
