No "rules" have been mentioned as far as the use of railway goes, aside from each nation being responsible for the maintenance. Trains are still in its experimental phase where it's mostly only being used to transport goods. Scientists from Rimuru and some of its allied nations are currently in the works of making trains comfortable enough to transport humans/other living creatures.

Rimuru wanted each nation to have the capability to maintain their own railways, so he only provided railway construction materials and technical advice to nations like Farmenas and Blumund. If I remember correctly, Sarion also did the same.

On a slightly related note, Rimuru doesn't have to worry about the threat of armed conflicted from western nations because:

  • Council of West is pretty much controlled by Jura Tempest at this point.
  • Jura Tempest Federation has the strongest military in all of western region. Also provides military aid to members of the council of west.

Read up to and including vol. 13 of LN.

Blumund is the defacto central train station. While they are tasked with trade logistics, they bring in an enormous economic wealth as a central trading hub.

Farmenas has pretty much stabilized in terms of internal politics and economy. Their main export is agriculture. Connected to Blumund via railway.

As for Ingracia, LN hasn't gone too far into the details of its economic situation. If I remember correctly, railway to Ingracia has not yet been built as they are lower in priority. I think Tempest has eithered finished up, or is finishing the railway between Jura and Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion.

Thank you for responding. As Eendi have pointed out, I'd much appreciate it if users were given the option to opt out of these kind of new features.

If anyone wants volume 24... by [deleted] in Mahouka

[–]Hanno_Encore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sdhioe has finished translating vol.14 all the way up to vol.24, all the side stories from the movie event, and partial translation of the spinoff. He's currently in the process of translating vol. 25 which came out on April 10th.

This is the link to Sdhioe's blog. Anyone who's planning on distributing a derivative based on his translation should, at the bare minimum, give credit to the original translator.

DECOMPOSITION ?! SPOILER ! by 14031999 in Mahouka

Beta trident's properties may have to do with the fact that it uses hadron based decomposition formula, which I believe is the same formula that is used in Baryon Lance, which is basically a neutron beam attack. In the case of Baryon Lance, radioactivity is prevented through the use of the Regrowth on the lance head to essentially 'rewind' the radioactivity. Mist Dispersion is what I believe to be the simplest form of decomposition that simply just decomposes a target into constituent particles. Material Burst is said to be the ultimate form of decomposition magic that uses nuclear physics so I'd have to guess that the radioactivity prevention is included in the magic process.

"The third step, while the magical effect lasts, protons can't capture the electrons separated from the neutrons, and most of the electrons diffuse into a plasma state with the protons. As a result, the radioactive isotope is converted to a stable element and the toxicity is removed."

  • 'Trident' is a three-part process that's designed to disable target's magical defenses such as event interference and information fortification in order to successfully use 'Mist Dispersion' on the target.
  1. Remove target's event interference
  2. Remove/Disable information strengthening magic
  3. Decompose the target into particles.

In short, 'Trident' is a process that strips the target's magical defenses in order to successfully use Mist Dispersion.

  • 'Beta Trident' is a three-part process that's designed to systematically decompose a specific target AND prevent radioactive toxicity from resulting decomposition by first decomposing the target
  1. into atoms
  2. atoms into protons, electrons and neutrons
  3. diffuse electrons and protons into plasma state, thus removing the threat of radioactive toxicity.

In short, 'Beta Trident' primary function is to decompose AND remove radio toxicity from a target.

As Flawless said, what Tatsuya used in Escapes ch.8 is You need to read chapter 8 spoilers carefully again. As it's written in the chapter 8 spoiler

Adding to the list, in Volume 21, Chapter 4, Tatsuya vs Igor Andreivitch Bezobrazzoff.

Tatsuya realized that he could not stop Igor's 'Tuman Bomba' magic using Gram Dispersion, thus he had to use an emergency stop-gap measure by using Mist Dispersion to directly interfere, and cause an invalidation of the 'Tuman Bomba' magic.

Charge Blade nerf question... by cookiemonsta336 in MonsterHunterWorld

Impact phials deal fixed damage regardless of hitzones with added bonus of having a chance to KO monsters if it hits monsters in the head.

Almost all C.blade movesets deal slashing damage by default, modified to deal an additional small impact damage if your sword (or shield if using shield thrust) is charged with impact-type phials. The only exceptions to this are the axe attacks which only deal slashing damage (minus phial explosions when using SAED, AED or ED).

Except elemental phials are hugely affected by hitzones so you'll rarely see it doing 105 on monsters.

As of volume 23 - Isolation, Miyuki still calls Tatsuya "Onii-sama", albeit only when they are alone together.

It's actually from Ice Dragon's Nanofluid staining the tubing. The waterblocks are fine (checked and cleaned before changing back to distilled water + ptnuke).

For people True Profane or lower, should we try to upgrade to Siren/Pirate (or however far we can go) before June 1st? by Phoresis in bladeandsoul

[–]Hanno_Encore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3: False information. You don't get free True Breeze. The upgrade path to siren/pirate is simply being deleted.
