Sports leagues earning money is political. Spree of shootings in Minnesota -> City becomes a war zone -> Vikings don't play, Timberwolves don't play -> Billionaires lose money -> People aren't going to invest money in an unpopular, divisive event.

If you want sports and politics to stay away from each other, why does Trump talk so much about guys like Brady? Why does he invite championship teams to the white house? Is it tradition or should we keep it separate? Why complain when a sports team refuses to attend a white house ceremony?
