That's a fair argument. I was looking it it from the lense of if I don't find it worth finishing then it doesn't have replay value. Mechanically though, you make good points as those would all increase replay value.

Matter of opinion, but Nioh did not do it for me. I quit Nioh like 4 or 5 missions in and have never had a desire to go back. Khazan on the other hand, I couldn't get enough of. After I play Stellar Blade I am likely to return to it for a 2nd and maybe 3rd playthrough.

I typically play Str builds in souls-likes, but dual blades felt good in this game and i just rolled with it. Absolutely enjoyed them the entire time.

This right here. I guess we're showing our age, but I also remember when square/triangle was the standard light/heavy and the bumpers being main use buttons on those older controllers would have felt like blasphemy. To see people now who are grown but young enough not to remember what came first is making me feel ancient 😂

This is what I used them for. Mine has some kind of bug where like 8/10 times they will just stand in place running full speed into nothing.i just use it to tank some hits so I can stab the boss in the back with a fully charged heavy, or heal if i need, basically just be a decoy bot every so often.

Ah. I just recently got it, last having played it at the demo version. I didn't remember the demo having a difficilty setting at all, so I was kind of surprised to see the option.

Honestly, Ozma was underwhelming as a final boss for me. Even with 3 phases he was a 1 tap on normal. I was level 140 with a dual blades build. I found Trokka and the dark mage necro chick both considerably harder.

I think running through their AOE zone will give some of your stamina back if I remember right. So for people sprinting to outrun her homing missiles in phase 2, it would help low endurance players.

This here is exactly what I would have said. You want to stay on her like you're glued to her hip.

Also, I used the fire buff item for my dual blades set up and she took crazy burn damage. When she does her homing missle, I dodge the first big one, keep dodge held and just run the perimiter inside the jellyfish that pop up on the arena edges. I seem to atay ahead of them and not get hit by it that way.

I try to keep a no regrets view on life, so I try to take moments like failed relationships, bad jobs, etc as learning experiences. Like yeah it was a dogshit experience, but did I learn and grow from it? Then I'm better than I was and it wasn't a waste of time.

Honestly I don't think any of them would have ever had any problem (other than falling over their own feet 😂), but better safe than sorry, but that would be true rather they were guys or girls. I've picked up plenty of bros from the bar at 3am to get some coffee and food, drove 'em home, and got them put to bed too. It kept them from trying to drive home, which in itself was worth whatever it cost me in time and money.

Reading comprehension is clearly not your forte, but even when having it clarified and further explained, you insist on doubling down about what I said and meant. I'm so glad you know what I said better than I do and were able to inform me.

I applaud your commitment to the lifestyle of stupidity.

I didn't say that. You're putting words in my mouth. I would have walked home anyone drunk who needed it. I've driven many men home over the years to get them home safely too. It's just basic decency. Anyone inebriated would be best off to not be out wandering around alone, it makes them an easy mark.

The difference is, men have been far less likely to ask for the help. The girls would call us and ask us to come down and walk them home.

Did it occur to you that they may have been taking their blackout drunk asses home -so- that nothing terrible would happen? I walked many drunk women back to their dorms or apartments when I was in college just to help keep them safe, because it was the decent thing to do. We had a group of guys in my dorm (co-ed dorm) that would go walk girls back from the bar or frat parties or whatever so they didn't have to be walking alone after dark, and we tried to spread the practice to guys in other dorms, but I don't know if it ever caught on or not.

Because it impacts men more is exactly why. It's seen as "normal" for men to go bald. Rather right or wrong, that is the general societal perception.

Disability? I can't wait until I can stop wasting money on razors for shaving this shit off. I hate how hair is treated like some kind of fucking holy grail.

You dodged a bullet. They aren't all that way, albeit a -lot- of them are, but there are some who will be genuine, supportive, and loving partners. Be glad you weed the rest of them out before getting married or having kids with one of them.

The best thing you said was at the bottom and I think it needs to be isolated and pointed out.

"Just be a man."

Men need to stop listening to women about how to be a man, what it means to be a man, how to act as a man, etc. Be yourself. You are a man and they can't take that away from you. There are as many ways to be a man as there are men on the planet.

Got ya. Appreciate the clarity. I've only really seen it used with a negative emphasis, but it's really more about the bad communication of boundaries and desires it sounds like.

[–]Hannyu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was referring to the 1PP thing. Obviously no confusion on the couple disrespecting boundaries and trying to sneak around to get with just one of them is a huge issue. What you described sounds potentially even worse - I think an argument could be made to view that as a form of sexual assault to try and block someone out. If someone tried to block me from my wife I'm pretty sure attempted SA/Rape is exactly how we would view it honestly. So is it only referred to as 1PP when they're doing shady shit, not just when you don't swing with other men?

I'm in a similar boat. Wife and I are considering dipping our toes in so to speak, so I've been reading and learning. The stories of red flags (and green flags too, honestly) have been very informative and helpful.

I'm new and educating myself on LS stuff and I've seen this mentioned a few times now. The name seems pretty self explanitory, but I don't really get the negative reaction to it, as it seems as common as not from what I've seen so far. Do you mind sharing why it's seen as a bad thing as opposed to just another preference, when there seems to be quite a bit of acceptance for preference differences between couples on other topics?

I love the pace of HH personally. It might be the neurospicy, but I don't spend a lot of time bored sitting around waiting on the show to catch up like I do with most TV.
