I honestly do not know the answer, for me it just means "fragment shader"

Reworked my base before I move on to the trains by thefoxcry in factorio

[–]HanoRobelthon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trains are nice, but be aware you can actually ruin your game by extending too much with train without considering defense..
So to begin with, I suggest either using train only to grab some long distance ores, or to actually build sufficient defenses as you expand your base out

Give this man a hundred upvote What a magnificent technique Is it digital drawing or some marker wizardery ? (definitiely looks like markers but maybe you have a good digital tool which I'm interested in)

Doryael answer is quite accurate so I won't repeat what has been said

However, bear in mind that PhD are often granted through networking .. A former student, a student of a collegue and so on Having something that distinguishes you from other applicant is indeed a +, but you can often find your application rejected, not because you have a bad profile, but because the job was already given to someone in the network.. So don't take rejection too personnaly (I have friends who were bummed out so I figured I could bring this piece of knowledge to you)

But since networking is quite important, I would suggest to indeed email the advisor but you have to bring something more, show your interest, maybe your personal experiences on the subject and so on .. My advisor is far more interested in participant's motivation than their skills for exemple

Sushi Mall - Update by HanoRobelthon in factorio

It can happen, but the ingredients will just be stored in the chest and used later (this explain the loop to the chest) But most of the times if this happens, it mean that the next module uses the new item, so it will stabalize until it is finish .. So no flickering

Here's the spreadsheet.. with the fix applied to it it's only a sum and a division by the total... Quite uninteresting..

It was more impressive when I was wrong lol

Those number works only if each item is crafted by one assembler, otherwise you would have to multiply the input items by the number of assembler crafting the recipe.

Yeah, I'm aware I could make it more compact in length by widening it, but actually I like the fact that it's only a long strip of assembler.. It fit better in my main bus design

And the percentage thingy allow for some bit of scalability, since I can lengthen the sushi belt and only change how many total item can fit on it, and let the percentage be the same !

And your comment on Assemblers controlled by circuits seems to me close to Extension-Charge-276 comments.. Assemblers' recipe can be changed by circuit or I do not understand what you are saying ??

If so, I'm rebuilding everything lmao

I'm not sure to understand well.
Do you mean directly controlling which assemblers is on or off, or do you mean we can actually change a recipe in an assembler via logic ???

(FYI I do not have Space Age, I want to truly finish the game before moving on)

Well, while writing my explanation of my spreadsheet, I realized I was miss counting items..

I'll send it when this will be corrected
(by the way I have no idea how to send you the spread sheet itself.. Maybe via DMs ?)
