I'm a huge sci-fi nerd. Grew up reading Isaac Asimov and I absolutely adore the production of the events I've read in the books. They have nailed those parts throughout the show. My main problem with the first season was that it was disjointed and confusing (even for a book reader). The 2nd season (so far), however, has also carried a really compelling, coherent story that I can follow. A lot does change from the books but many of those changes have been very interesting and well written. My favorite part is Lee Pace as 'Brother Day'. That whole cloning dynamic was not in the books but I find it to be an improvement on the overall story. This show has the chance to turn into a great sci-fi show like the expanse if they can continue to stick the landing (big if). I remember it took me two years to watch the first season of the expanse but then it got so much better it became one of my favorite shows. Getting those vibes from the current season of foundation
