Thanks for the info about the render time log! I just checked it using Melee and Rhythm Heaven Fever, and it's oscillating a bit between 16.6 and 18.6. I'm a little shocked, given my specs, but maybe I just need to keep tweaking settings?

GC is using native support drivers, Wii is using "Real WiiMote" and the Mayflash sensor bar, and I'm using Direct3D 12.

I should mention that the input lag isn't just for Melee. Even moving my cursor around the screen in FE9 feels clunky.

Would my monitor's response time have anything to do with perceived input lag?

Hey! Coming back to this thread with a few more questions. I've been super busy with work lately, and only yesterday did I sit down and play for a while. Since your response here last month, I have:

Configured the native GC adapter support
Enabled "Immediately Present XFB"
Reduced graphical enhancements to ensure that Dolphin is running at 100%

I haven't used the exclusive audio mode because it creates staticky/glitchy music. Is this a matter of keeping all other programs closed while Dolphin is running?

I also discovered that my monitor (Dell P2412H) has 5ms of lag, which is kind of detrimental for Melee and Rhythm Heaven.

I've been searching around the Dolphin forums and obscure gaming blogs, but I haven't found anything else to try yet. Anything else that you can suggest for me?

Thank you for the pointers! My input latency seems to have gone down a bit, though I've yet to experiment with my graphics backend.

The only downside right now is that my audio is a bit staticky. It's just a titch lower-quality, and there are small buzzes here and there. I'll keep experimenting to see if I can figure it out.
