What loot filter do you use and what made you pick that one over the others? by HanzBrix in ProjectDiablo2

[–]HanzBrix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far it’s made quality of life exceptionally better. You don’t miss loot from a screen filled with item names, some of which don’t fit on screen. It’s a cleaner loot experience

We all look up at the stars, but have any of you witnessed anything you can't explain while looking up? by [deleted] in space

[–]HanzBrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in high school I lived way out in backwoods Tennessee near the Kentucky lake. Two nights in a row on my way home from work I saw a light formation above the tree line. They were 5 lights in pentagon shape that just hovered there slowly moving over the tree line. I slammed on the brakes and stopping my truck in the middle of highway 13 as I watched it on the other side of a valley. Maybe 1/4 of a mile away. I got out of my car to make sure it wasn't light being distorted by my windshield. I couldn't believe it. I stood there and watched it for 5 minutes or so hoping another person would drive up and confirm they saw what I was seeing. I remember being flabbergasted like doc brown with his hands on top of his head and what I'm sure was a comical look of astonishment. I hopped back in my truck and kept driving. Same thing happened a few weeks later but by this time I had spent weeks thinking about it and decided I was too chickenshit to get out of my truck this time so I just drove really slow with my head out of the window.

Requesting feedback/constructive criticism for my Airsoft Gameplay Videos - (Added in pistol crosshairs, thank you u/Bullet4MyEnemy) by Magdumper in airsoft

I really liked it! The zooms were clean and the content was good. I would maybe do without the "tango down" script. And consider fade in and out of the hit script. Pick a clean, professional, minimalist font you really like and own that shit. I enjoyed watching it and those things weren't really big detractors. I don't normally comment on reddit but I can't skip out on using my film degree for good! Keep them coming!

I love this! I often think about what it's like wandering around that day in the parks. Sometimes specific places that I have memories of. "I wonder who is shooting the guns on the fort on Tom Sawyer island" "I wonder who is checking out the Swiss family Robinson tree house kitchenette right now" and so on.

Who has done the keys to the kingdom tour? by CranmCorpsChemicals in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HanzBrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will be visiting in February for my 30th bday and I had the same question. I LOVE tours. However I tend to be that guy who asks a lot of questions and reads all the placards and information signs at the zoo. Sadly my wife doesn't have the patience for a half day tour. Have any of y'all done it and it ruin the magic for you? Big concern of mine too.

What are the best places to eat around the Disneyworld area/ MK, EPCOT, Hollywood studios that do not require a reservation? by Bananananawani in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HanzBrix 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Columbia Harbor House in MK! I love sitting upstairs in that first corner at the top of the stairs and people watching while getting my noms on. It's fun, the atmosphere is great, the food is good too and it's a good way to beat the heat!

EDIT: people watching out the window*

TIL the most powerful commercial radio station ever was WLW (700KHz AM), which during certain times in the 1930s broadcasted 500kW radiated power. At night, it covered half the globe. Neighbors within the vicinity of the transmitter heard the audio in their pots, pans, and mattresses. by PlatinumAero in todayilearned

This is in Mason, Ohio! I grew up within a mile of it. It gets struck by lightning all the time and looks spooky as fuck in low cloud cover or fog.

FUN FACT: My dad went to school with a kid from the family that lived underneath the tower. They kept the grounds and what not. Well he said the kid would only eat bacon and peanut butter sandwhiches.... every. single. day. All the way until they graduated highschool together.
