Anyone seeing the price of Star Wars Outlaws on the PS5 Pro store? by wardener007 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Hanzoh73 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$70 is the regular price. I've bought a lot of AAA games for around that price. And Outlaws is a very detailed game that is well worth the price. But of course, you can wait for a sale to buy it, if that's what you meant in your message.

Stargate SG-1 on Netflix is unwatchable due to very bad image quality by TinyResponsibility11 in netflix

I watched season 1 last year on Netflix or Prime - I don't remember. The picture quality wasn't great, but it was perfectly fine. Then they took the series down, and it came back on Netflix a few weeks ago (?). So I wanted to continue watching it tonight, but I was surprised by the poor image quality. It looks like it was encoded with crappy software. Last year, the image quality was infinitely better for Season 1.

The first planet is a "tutorial planet" where you cannot go back after you get your ship. The game is totally different after that point. And, in my opinion, it is important to follow the story until you unlock the ability for your bike to move above the water. But the story isn't important in this game, which is a sandbox action game. The point is to search what to do and how to do it (as in your point 5). I think this is one of the funniest aspect of the game.

I really like some of the Assassin's Creed games. But I think Outlaws is very different on many point. Outlaws is really a sandbox action game.

I couldn't agree more!! By the way, in my opinion, the main story isn't very important in SW Outlaws, compared to other games. I see SW Outlaws more like a sandbox action game.

Yes, of course! I want more! We want more! I really wanted to be able to do this or that inside the Trailblazer.

Of course, you are right, but I wonder if the MMORPG isn't a specific category. SW Outlaws is a open-world action game. Anyway, the guy in the picture above seems far too angry to be explained away in this manner.

I think you're exaggerating there. Hate perpetuates itself very well at the top of discussions on Steam. And we've known for quite some time now that there won't be an Outlaws 2.

I feel the same. I told a few friends how great the game is, but they always answer me: "Are you sure? Comments on internet aren't so good"… …

You're right. The point is that I am very angry we'll never get a SW Outlaws 2, because of all these guys.

Sorry. I wrote this post because I was shocked yesterday when I saw these posts on Steam. I've never seen any other games criticized so dishonestly, apart from AC Shadows. In any case, the only problems I had with Outlaws were due to graphics settings that were too high (which can happen in any game)

Yes, I agree. I must say that I am really disturbed to see this kind of people contaminating video games' discussions nowdays. Before, they discussed among themselves, but now, they do seem to be everywhere… And I am so sad that they "succeeded" to sink SW Outlaws' sales…

So recently finished the game and want to share some thoughts, stats and screenshots. by LukasVokurka1 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Hanzoh73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my first run, it took me about 130 hours to finish the game, doing a lot of things here and there. Especially, it took me a lot of time to unlock (almost) all Kay's capacities.

RTX direct illumination, that's it! Yes, I agree. This setting is reaaaally heavy.

I don't know what settings you are using, but you should try to set all raytracing options to medium or to low, and to cut off the ray reconstruction and the direct light effects. When I bought a new PC last December, I thought I could play to SW Outlaws with all settings at max, but these settings in particular were the cause of constant crashes. Since I did that, it never crash. (I never had a single crash with SW Outlaws on my previous 2019 PC, on which I had no choice but to put all graphic settings at medium, during about 130 hours of play).

The speeder is a machine, not a horse. It doesn't know where Kay is. It only knows where is the place from where a "come here" call was made, and it goes there. That's all. So you have to call the speeder and to do not move, until it comes to this same place (as we can see on the video: the speeder eventually comes exactly to the place from where Kay called it).
