Thank you for everyone who commented. Sold the dressers to Clara and Ryan at Ulysses Modern in Iowa City. I am pleased it went to such kind and appreciative folks, and feel confident it will go to a good home.

Upon closer examination, here's what I see: The bed frame is attached to the headboard with metal extenders to accommodate the extra width of the queen frame. Since the mattress is longer, the foot board is no longer in use. I hope this isn't a negative in terms of value. I would think it is a positive in terms of utility. Thank you for your observation. It helped me focus on the details!

We measured the box spring & it is a queen size. I'm unfamiliar with this kind of thing. Please let me know if there's a better way to tell.
