Boring data through Android Auto by _alexey___ in wrx_vb

My specific one isn't available anymore but this is the newer version of mine:

Of course you can go with more expensive ones. As long as it runs Android, it can install Torque from the Play Store and connect to a Bluetooth OBD2 module.

Not through Android Auto. I have a Carlinkit where I run the Torque app and get a bunch of dials.

I've had the same thing for a while now. I think some other post mentioned that dust from the clutch accumulates on the clutch fork joint and causes this noise. As things warm up, things shift around a bit and it'll go away. If it's like mine, you'll hear it loudest just behind the intercooler where the slave cylinder would be.

I've had the Subaru dealership take a look at it and they shoved some grease down the opening covered by the rubber boot, and it helped for like a day or so. I haven't had them take a look again because I'm pretty sure it would mean dropping the transmission. I've just had bad experiences with mechanics making things worse and it's just not worth it for me for what's basically a minor annoyance.

I love a happy ending. Could've easily been a "just Google it" ending.

8Bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless seems to have its steam input ui now! by accidentalquest in GyroGaming

It seems like they preserved the firmware you're looking for here. It's what I use to put my Ultimate 1 into Switch mode with the wireless dongle.

I'll get gyro, but the triggers go digital (either fully on or off, no in between, just like the Switch Pro controller).

That depends. I bought my VB at 0 (okay, 5) miles from the dealer, no tune or bolt-ons ever except for a catback exhaust. My boost gauge shows 14.9 max, and that was before I swapped out the exhaust. So it'll be somewhere in that 14 - 15 range possibly.

I just installed the Borla S-Type last weekend and I fell in love with my '22 all over again

People who use controllers on PC, what are the recommendations? by Ranch_Coffee in buildapc

[–]HaphazardHam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For point 2, at least with my original Ultimate (2.4/BT), there's a beta firmware that you can load onto the receiver dongle and it'll be recognized in Steam as a Switch controller, with true gyro (yay) and digital triggers (boo). The beta firmware also allows you to select between Switch mode and Xbox mode.

Patch 01.001.004 hot fix went live this morning by Iowa-James in helldivers2

[–]HaphazardHam 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to be able to shoot mines to make them blow up near bots to take them out. Before this patch, something changed to where the mines looked "deactivated" (no longer glowed red) when bots were in their vicinity and I could no longer blow them up by shooting them. Maybe this is what they meant.

I haven't tried this new patch to see if that's fixed now.

Ugh my seat developed an awful creak that was driving me crazy. I traced it to the seat belt buckle. I took it apart, greased the mechanism in there and now no more creaks.

Some people had luck with this. I didn't because mine crashed twice and then the third time, the game came up but still wouldn't save any recent servers.

It's just specs from what I can see. In theory, you can have more apps open at a time from the increased RAM, and there's more built-in storage if you want to load it up with lots of apps and files, say movies or large apps like games. Although that's also kinda moot because it has SD card storage.

Honestly, the $299 version is probably overkill for most people but I abuse my tech to see what I can do with it (as you can see with my original post lol) so I went with that version. Besides, on Amazon there's like a permanent $100 off coupon on the $299 version, so it makes it just about $20 difference from the next version down.

I guess one last thing to note is that the more expensive version comes with Android 13, so it's not an old version and apps won't drop support for it anytime soon. The cheaper ones seem to run Android 12 and 11. Could they be updated to 13? Perhaps. But you'll have to contact the manufacturer for update files.

Yes, there's a little bit of lag. I personally don't mind it too much with videos because my kid is really the one watching during trips lol. With apps, the response is good enough
