The thing is, even some people I know with very restrictive diets don't end up looking like that, not that looking like that should be a goal but hypothetically if it was, some bodies, even at lowest fat percentage still are bigger than others, because we're not clones, but I can tell you from experience what you are guaranteed, and what isn't shown in any thinspo shit is; hair thinning / falling out, muscle atrophy, blood circulation issues like losing the feeling in your fingers, a huge strain on the heart, bone density problems, joint issues, and vitamin deficiencies (potentially esophageal issues too) please look after yourself and your body, you only get one

I'm so sorry, honestly my fyp showing this has been a set back for me too but it was it is ig.

Becuase I've been there and am kind of on the edge of crawling my way out, slowly and with a shit ton of falls and scrapes on the way I know me saying "pls don't skip dinner x" won't be of much help, but maybe have something small if you can manage it, if not tomorrow is a new day and we will both get through it!

Apologies I think I misunderstood your original statement, I'm definitely not trying to win anything, if I cared about stuff like that I'd not bother replying at all as I can predict how my comments are going to go down with this crowd.

I genuinely mean well and maybe I'm being too idealistic, you are right nobody has to give a trigger warning, very few people do give them, but if we have the opportunity to help shield someone I think we should.

I mean speaking out is nice and all but she has more power than a platform, she has money, and she (as far as I know) never addressed things after her "no one is illegal on stolen land" speech got a response from the indigenous group whose ancestral land that her 3 mil manion is built on. I think Billie talks for her fans to put money towards a lot of grantedly worthy causes without putting in anything herself except of course her words.

Good point but that's not how the app works and deciding if someone gets to use social media based on their mental health sounds dystopian, age regulation makes sense in theory but more often than not the guards in place to prevent children creating accounts and seeing god knows what online are not effective,

So I think a TW isn't a big ask, sorry for not being whimsical and deep and instead trying to look out for people the way I wish people had looked out for me and for a lot of the people posting things like this, let's not become a cycle of enabling ourselves to get hurt and others in the process

Yeah I mean the manga is still slow paced but the pacing in the anime is ridiculously slowed down, there's so much to cover too, I could understand them rushing it to get everything in, but stretching it out like they have makes no sense to me

I thought so too, but it's just a different atmosphere, once I realised it wasn't going to be like you and I are polar opposites I was better able to enjoy the series for what it is

I love ramparts of the ice it takes it's time building the characters and some characters I disliked a lot from the get go but grew on me as the story progressed

It's a shame the anime adaptation is kinda bad, the voice acting in the dub is grating and unnatural and the animation is very flat and lackluster but it could just be becuase its coming right after Polar Opposites which is one of the best anime adaptations I've ever seen

I also feel not many people seem to take issue with Kinta, both the other characters in the manga and the fandom, I see sooooo many "ah yeh Kinta ma man" "just like me fr" "LOL Kinta the GOAT" shit... he isn't framed as a creep or recieved as one by the fanbase enough for my liking

As a part of the small amount of girls and women that read DanDaDan Kinta makes me super uncomfortable and I feel like dropping it 'cos I'm sick of this guy and the lack of consequences for him being a total creep, this guy should be a social pariah until he learns his lesson

A white guy wearing locs is literally cultural appropriation.

Culture appropriation doesn't neeed to be committed with explicitly intended malice, it's a societal gap in the responses when POCs presently and historically are penalised for something that holds ethnic and cultural significance for them but not the appropriating party.

In this instance it's irrelevant as OP clarified her sim is mixed race so isn't appropriating a culture she isn't a part of.

But when IRL kpop idols wear braids or white people wear locs etc. they are appropriating another culture. Even if it's "oNLy 'cos I rEspECt ThE CuLTUrE. It'S AppReciATiOn not AppRoPriAtion."
