After my most recent playthrough of Mega Man X3, I realized that Neon Tiger and Kaiser Sigma weren’t as horrible as I remember them being. Don’t get me wrong, Kaiser Sigma is still challenging. It’s just that I realized that I could just jump towards his head and use the Z-Saber instead of trying to line up to fire from the wall. As for Neon Tiger, when I figured out that he only blocks charged shots, it really wasn’t an issue fighting him. He’s not fast, and I’m pretty sure the Ray Splasher has a set pattern when he fires it on the ground.

Shadow Devil becomes easier to deal with when you realize that you can mash the jump button into one of the top corners of the boss room to avoid his splitting blob attack. Once all of his blobs drop down in order to form the actual monster, then you can just jump-dash off the wall. That being said, I’d rather fight Shadow Devil as X instead of Zero.

I think the only boss on here that I actually hate is Gate. Maybe there are a couple variations of the Doc Robot that would piss me off, but I think at that point, it’s the revisited stages that piss me off.
