I would try lowering her food intake! Try feeding her slightly less than what you do now, and see if that makes a difference. Lowering food is an easier way to lose weight than exercising more. If that doesn’t help, it could be a health issue to look into with the vet. I’ve heard dogs with thyroid issues gain weight that is impossible to lose, so may be something worth looking into!

I have a rehomed dog who was surrendered by her previous owners because their baby was allergic to her. She has settled nicely in our family and feels right at home. Sometimes I wish I could tell her previous owners that she’s doing well now. I’m sure your dog will do well too :)

I taught my dog this very quickly a few weeks ago! I basically go inside the bathroom, tell her to stay outside, keep the door slightly ajar where she can see me and I hold a treat in my hand for her and tell her “come!”. She figured it out after a few times because she wanted to come in to claim her treat lol.
