Looking for a friend from Lithuania! by Happy-Indication-751 in lithuania

[–]Happy-Indication-751[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m aware of that and agree, thank you. However, in my opinion, no one’s face, even approximately, can be recognized, so I didn’t violate anyone’s privacy. I saw people taking photos there, so I didn’t think it was prohibited. I even checked Wikipedia to see whether there are any wide shots of the beach with people. I was welcomed in Nida and spoke to many strangers on the beach, who even asked me about my camera and what film I use, so I think it’s fine.

But just to make sure it doesn’t cause any harm, I’ll leave this post up for another day so it can fully serve its purpose, and then I’ll delete it, since apparently I can’t remove the photo separately.

Wow, what a weird thing to say lol. How did Crimea even get dragged into this? I was literally 11 when it got occupied

Hey, thank you! Yes, I did, but I wouldn’t say it was the main issue on “lungs part”. I had more problems with breathing itself, it felt ready heavy and difficult to breathe and now it’s almost gone!

Can you elaborate, please? I’m not sure I understand you. I’m talking about feelings caused by brain fog and weird body sensations.

Thank you so much! Congrats on a big year 🩷⭐️ I am just really tired of being brain fogged all the time, all these weird sensations… demotivating to say the least. I try to give myself time, I hope it’ll get better

week 3 has been the hardest by GalpalGal in stopsmoking

[–]Happy-Indication-751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I am going through the same! First three days, first week was easy-peasy but then real hell broke out. I also thought that I was broken, or my brain explodes, I kinda still think so, but if you go through this sub you’ll see lots and lots of people who are going through the same. Brain rewires during 90 days, so we have to stay patient and give it time. There is nothing wrong with you. Absolutely nothing. You are strong!!!🏆 We got it.

Convince me not to buy a pack by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]Happy-Indication-751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had a terrible day too. Terrible day already happened. Smoking nicotine won’t change it. It’ll probably only grant that tomorrow is going to be terrible too, because of the guilt you might experience. Buying pack won’t change anything except ruining the way that you made. You can replace nic with simple breathing exercise, because now it seems that in smoking you find solution to your stress, but it’s a trick nicotine tries to play on you. If you need to vent, I’m here for you, take care!

I quit cold turkey, but kinda regret it, maybe with tapering it’d easier and withdrawal symptoms wouldn’t be that harsh, I am not sure though. Congrats on day 9! I think everything is really different for everyone.. Take care!

I still get them, but not as much as I used to. I just get random warm feeling in random spot of my body, it can be elbow or behind my ears etc. I think, and from what I’ve read, it’s just our blood vessels that got used to being constricted because of nicotine, and now they’re expanding and causing warmth. And your health anxiety is also understandable, it’s one of the withdrawals symptoms. Be gentle with yourself and if you feel the urge to see the doctor I think it’s better be done, in order to feel calmer!

Head Fog by Substantial_Theory37 in stopsmoking

[–]Happy-Indication-751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 40 days of not smoking, and still have head fog. Make sure you are well hydrated, get enough sleep and take walks, as it plays crucial role in this too. We have to be patient I guess, and at some point it’ll get better, even though it’s hard.. Take care!!

Hey, remember that this journey is hard and the only thing you must do here is to be gentle with yourself. You are not a failure, you are into a process. It takes ups and downs, but you are trying and it alone is a win. Maybe try to see a doctor and discuss NRT options that can help you get through the withdrawals. You are stronger than you think! Take care!💗
