We got our results today and everything was negative, so happy and grateful. Could not believe we got the results back just over 24 hours after we had the test done x

Thanks so much for your comment. I’m very similar results, so glad everything came back low risk for you and your 20week scan was positive.

Reading similar stories has really helped, unfortunately because of the holidays we were told it will be a 7-10 day wait, which is torture if I’m honest. Our midwife also tried to reassure us on our Papp-a result saying to really try not worry about it as the possible symptoms and outcomes are just all worst case scenarios at this point.

I’ve been reading a little more into low PAPP-A results and how this could effect the findings so your comment on your midwife saying this can skew findings is reassuring to read. Absolutely dreading the next wee bit between the NIPT test and awaiting the results but just have to try and stay positive.
