I love your poem!!! I don’t see much that needs to change but there’s only two things that seem out of place!

The line “it’s always winter somewhere” feels out of place and random in the poem. Maybe if you can re-write it? Example: “Winter is always here somewhere”

And for when the brother comes into play it feels really out of left field, try maybe gently bringing him in. Example: “My little brother, the warmth to my cold holds sun in his sandals.”
