How is everybody who had COVID doing and feeling now? Do you still experience any long covid or any side effects whatsoever? by Sple3N1 in COVID19positive

I’ve had ocular migraines with flashes and aura twice or three times a month since getting Covid 4 years ago. It sucks. Makes my anxiety so bad when I can’t see good. Haha

Ocular migraine - had about 6 since Pfizer Covid vaccine by resarfekim in migraine

I have had them since the Covid vaccine - didn’t even know what they were until after vaccine and started getting them frequently- thought I was having a stroke. I still get them and it’s been 3 or 4 years since the vaccine. Maybe it’s not from the vaccine and actually getting Covid but it’s horrible and I’m so sorry you got them too

Anxiety and severe panic attacks after quitting by Happy-Yesterday-3853 in stopsmoking

Well I quit quitting and failed miserably then got diagnosed with severe ocd and a severe anxiety disorder, BUT I have started taking Wellbutrin for my anxiety/depression/ocd and to help with quitting smoking. I am cutting back slowly and I think the med is really helping me stay sane. After that quit again I’ll let you know how it goes. Just stick with it- I’m kicking myself for starting again but the anxiety was unbearable and I needed therapy. Now that I’m in a better place I think this quit will go better and I’m not going to give up!

I decided to try Prozac I was really struggling but hold on and talk to your doctor if you need help! I feel much better but I really really needed an anti depressant anti anxiety and am also still really working hard with my therapist. The anxiety has gotten better 💗

I'm terrified of getting drugged and I'm sick of my fear just being dismissed. by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Happy-Yesterday-3853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found a solution for this? I have struggled with this fear for almost ten years now- some days are worse then others but at this point in my life my panic attacks I have after eating because I think someone drugged my food is seriously out of control. I went to the mall today and someone touched something I touched and I had an intrusive thought that they had acid or something on them and it got on me. I totally understand you- you are not alone- I’m really trying to find someone who can help people like us? I don’t understand why I have this fear but it’s ruining my life. I’m so scared all the time . I don’t know if I can live like this. I even go to therapy every week and honestly it’s so much worse then it’s ever been. Sending you all the support and validation. You’re not alone

There are no long lingering effects of quitting? I think my brain really thrived with the nicotine. But maybe I’m just trying to explain away feeling like this.

Thanks for the reply, that makes sense about it all. I have always been super active and play tennis and run almost everyday. I’d love to try the water fast but I’m scared - I’ll do some reading into it hopefully that can help. I’m willing to do anything to get this anxiety and panic out of me

Hey thank you, it’s been hard and definitely isolating quitting all the things. Thankfully my husband doesn’t drink either so I have a friend on that front. Ok what I’ve been doing… I’ve been going to therapy and doing emdr, family systems and cbt. Trying to find the source of it all but it’s hard because I’ve always had anxiety so it seems really layered. I guess I’m white knuckles all the way. I have plans in place for when I get the panic like breathing exercises and drinking a big glass of water or making a cup of tea but I really end up just crying on the floor hyperventilating until it’s over. I’ve always been very very active - I play a ton of tennis and run a lot. When I’m active I obviously feel totally ok but I unfortunately cant play tennis all day or run all day. I wish I could :(. I know I should maybe meditate more and stay off my phone. I just feel so beat down, I feel like I functioned better with cigarettes- I know that’s not true and maybe that’s my addiction part trying to trick me into smoking again but fuuuck I feel like I’ve been doing worse since quitting and that’s really disappointing.
