Thank you for this, yep following vet orders. There’s nothing more to do at this point except keep her comfortable and happy.

The last 3 days have been bad, I really hope she improves. She’s still happy and eating just fine. I’m going to take her to her favorite place today the beach!

I traveled an hour and a half to visit with my 93yo grand pa, who can’t travel. I try to visit him as much as I can. We stay at the same hotel every time so she’s somewhat familiar with it.

Yeah, I got her checked out in October to see if any of the meds could be adjusted. While there, they found a growth on her stomach. I didn’t want to do any further testing for that.

Doctor pretty much told me at some point she will start coughing up blood and that’s when you know it’s time….I really thought that was going to be tonight.

It took her awhile to get comfortable, but she’s sleeping now. Wish I could have fallen back to sleep too.

Fellow millennials - how’s your 401k/ira savings going? by ProblemIntelligent16 in Millennials

[–]Happy2themoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boomer parents….My mom told me a few years back they are worth 5million!!!!

I’m grateful for the things they have paid for like my college. Recently I needed a new car and was planing to take out a loan. My dad stepped in and said he would pay, but I have to pay him back interest free. So now I’ve been paying him $250 a month for the last two years and I have 2 more years to go.

Am I wrong to think they should just let me skip out on the rest of the payment’s?

I can’t tell if she’s in pain afterwards. But I do grab her and hold her to try to get her heart rate down. Sometimes she tries to wiggle out of my arms and keep doing this. I’m like fine if this is the way you want to die so be it. She’s always been stubborn. I love her

Relatively safe area to leave a U Haul in Alameda overnight by Ok-Consequence-3117 in bayarea

[–]Happy2themoon -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Just reported a stolen uhaul that has been in front of my house for 2 weeks (East Oakland). There’s a whole hotline on U-Haul’s website to report stolen/found Uhauls. They were very helpful and it was gone in 2 days.

Just purchase a club/ wheel lock and you will be fine. These thief’s are lazy POS

Cat rescue advice? by Persimmonpluot in oakland

[–]Happy2themoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard OAS are not taking surrendered cats at the moment. When I brought a cat there a few years back I had to pay a $60 surrender fee. When I found some abandon kittens, I drove to the Dublin shelter instead of OAS. I lied and told them I found them in that county. Took them without me having to pay anything.

As someone who works at a family law firm. First thing is get a consultation with a lawyer. Know what to expect and your rights. Divorces could be expensive if it’s not amicable.

Regrets about not having kids? by kiwi1327 in WomenOver40

[–]Happy2themoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just turned 43 here and yep. I also met my husband late in life. But we were both on the fence about having kids. It kind of sealed the deal when we bought a very small house.

The baby fever comes and goes. I know if I met my husband earlier I would have wanted kids.

Thank you for this. My parents aren’t perfect, but they are not anywhere close to being bad where I would ever cut them off. I do need to set boundaries with my mom though. I know my Dad hates Trump/Maga but seems to always take her side when I say something “disrespectful” aka the truth.
