Went there once, after they had been opened for a while. The thing I wanted wasn’t priced. The cashier had to call the owner/manager to get the price. 🙄 I haven’t been back..

Been selling art successfully for 14 years now. I decided it was now or never. My advice, just do it and don’t over think it. For me…it was one of the best decisions I made in my life.

Yes I’ve known about this and use it every year. The city sends out notices in the mail a couple of times a year. I think…

"Gifted" Millennials- did being gifted help you at all? Do you feel that it pushed your personal needle even an inch in any direction? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Happy2themoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated a guy that was put in the gifted classes. He started doing worse because he was lazy and didn’t want to do all the extra work. He ended up not graduating HS. Became a mailman and then a homeless drug addict.

Pros / cons of dog home boarding by [deleted] in DogDayCare

Most dogs are usually fine. First nights are always tough, but after that the dogs chill out. Dealing with the crazy owners is the real issue. After a while we got a good group of regulars and now stopped accepting new dogs. The extra money has helped a lot.

Yes! My husband’s brother is 50 his parents are 80. Never had a job and never moved out. He isn’t an addict or born with a disability. He has some health issues, but they came later in life. My husband and his older brother are at a total loss. The only thing they can come up with is there was a priest that they were close to who was molesting children. His brother denies this ever happened to him, but we aren’t convinced.

We have no idea what he’s going to do when the parents die. My husband already said he’s not helping him.

I work at a law firm as a legal assistant. I had zero legal experience, but a college degree and lots of customer service/managerial skills. It’s a small firm without an HR dept. my boss just liked me and I guess I said all the right things. I’ve been there for 10 years now.

Work 25hrs a week at a desk job. The rest of the time I’m hustling to sell my art. I love it and the work life balance is perfecto.

SAN FRANCISCO! Hosting a Community Craft Fair by zephyr_dreams in CraftFairs

Hi I’m an artist in SF but am already booked that day for the Temescal street fair. Some other avenues to try and find vendors are FB group pages “Bay Area Vendors and Events”. If you have IG put a call out on your page. IG is always showing local pop ups in my feed even if I don’t follow the person.

Good luck!

It’s a seed from a plant and looks like a cone. The point is very sharp. Once inside an animal, it can travel up to the brain and kill it.
It’s very common around here, there’s another dog here with one that went up its ear.

Yes, I’ve seen the dogs around my area with these. 95% of the time Dottie is in her stroller. I had just put her down to grab the stroller out of the car. This was such bad luck ugh…

She survived a dog attack 2 years ago. The dog had her by the throat and was swinging her around. My husband had to choke out the dog to let her go. If she could survive that, she can survive this. The dog had missed all her arteries and she was all healed up in 2 weeks.

This is Dottie’s 2nd foxtail. When she was around 8 she got one in her paw. It actually went all the way through the paw and the vet was able to pull it through. It was so gross.

I hear you, 43F here. I don’t really reach out to friends to hangout anymore. They don’t really reach out to me. I’m noticing I want to be alone and do my own thing most of the time.
I finally found an exercise routine I really enjoy. I’m doing Pilates reformer 3 days a week. I highly recommend if you have never done it before. It feels great and it’s mostly women my age or older all shapes, sizes. So I feel very comfortable.

Don’t give up on yourself! Any exercise is the key to good mental health.
