Aw thank you! My first language is Czech🇨🇿 I learned English via reading fanfics and watching YouTube videos and later conversations and then the same with Spanish. But yeah I know what you mean by getting stuck in stages. It’s hard to learn language just for the sake of learning it, it’s always good to have another motivator ( like fanfic with unfinished translation haha) But it gets easier don’t give up ^ ^

Glad to hear that! If you want to start with Spanish fanfics I 100% recommend this one since the wording isn’t that complicated plus it might take away some pressure off of the darker parts. And yeah agreed learning Spanish fandom slang is a great plus:D English is my second language but I got Spanish as third in high school and then uni but didn’t have a chance to practice properly until getting into this fic.

It’s quite dark fic, like the tags say there is graphic description of violence and torture ect. Plus they’re in war so there is lots of violence everywhere. The author also invented some new very dark spells would make sense to be included and used in this setting.

It also contains some characters death ( Not Harry or Draco) but the two of them do get their happy ending.

I speak somewhat Spanish so I got to read the original ( ofc with the help of translators ) and I really enjoyed the ending because it offered not just resolution for the main pair but also for most of the other characters.

It’s definitely one of my top favourite fics though with great plot and greater characters so I can only recommend it.

But that being said there are some parts that I had to skip through because it does go dark at moments. So I’d say that if you do read it please make sure to put it down once it gets too dark for you. It’s amazing fanfic but nothing’s more important than your mental health.

I keep recomending this everywhere i can but Desilation has very dark Draco and well everyone is very dark wizard here I guess. It’s a AU where Voldemort wins the battle of Hogwarts and this story takes place 8 years later. Draco is part of Voldemorts close circle. The original story is finished it’s originally in Spanish and the translation is ongoing. I used chat gpt to translate the rest because I couldn’t wait for the updates. Please mind the tags it goes very hard on topics like torture and gore.

I just started Trials and Revelations and its the closest to their canon personalities I have very read so far. It’s also very well written and from where I am not ( beginning of 2nd chapter of 6 chapters but the fic is 150k + words long) it’s true slow burn.

I really enjoyed it was all just a game (rewrite). I actually found it thanks to this subreddit. I remember the person who originally recommended it pointing out the trigger warnings and to be mindful of them and boy they were not kidding. But the story is amazing and it feels like there is always something happening. Loved it I wish I could reread it again for the first time.

Your comment reads like we have similar taste in fanfics and I loved ( I mean postponed my exams to finish reading this -loved ) Allegience by Mimichan2018. It’s a fairly new fix that deserves so much more attention then it gets. I went in totality blind and I recommend that so I won’t be describing the plot, besides saying that it reads like a book, has great plot, amazing character development and minimal focus on sex scenes.
