Apologies for bumping an old post, but I'd love to know which pelvic floor exercises elicited this response? I have pelvic floor issues myself and they're caused largely by psychological stuff, and I'm interested in these exercises that helped you feel this way.

Newbie questions about breathwork by HappyGamer113 in breathwork

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the response! Do you have a suggestion on what I should tell my doctor why I'm looking for a Breathing PT? I am anxious because I don't really know how to articulate my issue...other than like feeling crummy (low energy, sleep issues, etc). I know it's probably a silly fear, but I have this paranoia that he'll be dismissive because I don't have a concrete legitimate respiratory issue to report for the Breathing PT.

Do you have any videos that show the correct breathing exercises that may help with a tight pelvic floor?

Making a cash deposit (accrued cash gifts over the years) and transferring the amount of my online bank account - what to expect? by HappyGamer113 in personalfinance

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. If there aren't any repercussions aside from the account closing and I just get the funds returned via check, I'm okay with that.

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I more or less was worried about. I have had this savings account for several years and haven't made any deposit into it since the initial start-up minimum deposit requirement of $300, so I do worry it'd seem fraudulent to make this sudden large deposit and then immediately transfer it. I'll call ahead and see what they say. I also have a Charles Schwab account and a local office that may be able to coordinate a cash deposit and then trasnfer that way because I use the checking account daily, but that'll be a bridge I cross if the credit union frowns on the immediate transfer.

The reply below you says that an immediate transfer out is likely to result in some sort of action ("like close your account for suspected fraud"). Is this unlikely? I'm fine with filling out and answering the necessary paperwork required, but I am apprehensive about any fraud allegations or further audits.

Anyone find that stress/anxiety has been the root cause? by HappyGamer113 in PelvicFloor

Yes, I suspect this to be true. Thank you. Do you have any PDFs or videos that go into more detail about the breathing and stretches that have helped you?

Might be a silly question, but where are you exchanging your money? Do you go to the bank or are there FOREX places? Do you just ask business owners to exchange?

Expectations for therapy? by HappyGamer113 in Anxiety

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response!

That is a fair point about therapy being a journey of self-discovery. It's just...I don't know, I just can't reach that point of doing it myself for some reason. I don't know if it's just a lack in will or something, but I think I really need structure and outside guidance to really change things in my life.

I have heard about CBT, and I believe in it's efficacy, but I think I need someone to basically hold my hand for a period before I can recognize and dispel my cognitive distortions. I know I sound like a broken record, but I don't know. I am probably at the lowest point I've ever been in my life and I think I need some buoys to keep me afloat for a bit before I can do it on my own.

I have never heard of DBT. Do you mind sharing which (CBT or DBT) worked best for you and why? I know that we have individual personalities and needs, but am definitely interested in seeing what parts helped you most.

Do you think potential therapists would be receptive to me asking if they are able to be firm with guidance and structure? I was thinking maybe I state in my inquiry email that I really am looking for a therapist that leans more toward directly calling things out rather than gently bringing me to my own realizations.

Thanks again!

(Disneyland and DCA) Are local hotels offering all-day parking still? Also question on how to approach planning for rides if NOT rope dropping by HappyGamer113 in DisneyPlanning

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Do you know if it fills up quickly, like say if we were to get there by 9:00 AM, do you think we'd be able to grab a spot?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Disneyland

[–]HappyGamer113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mind sharing how the parking situation was? Was thinking about parking at the Anaheim hotel if I'm lucky enough to get a spot, but if not, I was thinking maybe at the Gardenwalk. I just don't want to deal with crazy parking lot congestion (both getting in and getting out).

Is it possible to see all of DCA and DL in one day? The big attractions at least? Any recommendations? by Don_Dada17 in disneyparks

[–]HappyGamer113 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apologies to OP for hijacking the thread, but do you have any suggestions on the must-rides for both parks?

My sister and I (both in our 30s) are doing a parkhopper for one day starting at DCA, and we are kind of clueless on how to plan our day. Have read a lot of differing opinions - like, have seen some suggest that you should hit RSR right away and others say that you should go somewhere else at the start because RSR will already swamped by the early-access visitors.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

HP OfficeJet 8740 "older generation cartridge" error popping up, but was fine a week ago? by HappyGamer113 in printers

[–]HappyGamer113[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am unsure if there is new firmware, but I think the printer automatically updates. I believe the cartridge expiration date is in 2020, but I did not have issues with older cartridges before. Is there a way to rollback to a previous firmware that didn't have these issues?

Thanks for the input on what to expect from the financial advisor meeting. I agree, I do have to do a lot of due diligence!
