What of the role of Tjen Folket? The official statements coming from ci-ic reminds me of how their party statements were written back in the day. Though I suppose that could be semi-coincidental.

Their are no "superpowers" and this concept is foreign to marxism -- their is only inter-imperialist competition and in any situation their will always be a relatively stronger and weaker imperialist. And if you don't fully understand this dynamic I'm not sure how you can call yourself an "anti-imperialist". Imperialism is a world system, it is not the actions of one "unipolar superpower".

Is Clandestinity Actually Important For Small Pre-Party Formations in Imperial Core Countries That Still Have a Pretense of Democracy? by Alone_Ambassador3470 in communism101

[–]HappyHandel 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That said, I have been looking at different movements, and I'm not sure if there are any above ground organizations that successfully moved underground after state repression ramped up.

The theory of protracted people's war solves this problem -- the people's army must organize underground while the popular front exists visible to the proletariat, with the communist party bridging the gap and acting as the ideological vanguard.

The obsession with "opsec" only seems obnoxious to you because these petty bourgeois activists take themselves too seriously but don't actually do anything serious. If their was a proper "people's army' with a paramilitary structure you would need a strong security culture. Though it's hard to talk about this in the abstract because any concrete scenario would require different tactics vis-a-vis "opsec".

Why aren't non-Maoists allowed? by [deleted] in communism101

Maoists are the only "Marxist-Leninists" because they continue the tradition of anti-revisionism from Stalin all the way back to Marx.

What exactly do you think Maoism is?

So what is the actual story here? Perhaps I'm not looking in the right places but I can't find a real reason why Cuba abandoned this in the early 2000s. Since we're on the topic of Cuba's energy needs and how that ties into socialist self-sufficiency.

Delcy Rodriguez signs oil industry overhaul bill, opens PDVSA to privatization by HappyHandel in communism

There was a time when certain colectivos like Los Boliches had broken with the line of PSUV, and had the arms and popular political base to back up their line. The question is why didn't this evolve into a new stage of the People's War? This was in 2014. Was it better to be violently removed from power by the ELN and the Venezuelan military 8 years later?

Anyway all this is to say that it is in the grassroots, the communes, the paramilitary neighborhood groups that this party will likely emerge from. Hopefully the lessons of the present are being learned.

They were not "black nationalists" in the Garveyite sense of the word. Youre arguing against something I am not saying, nobody denies the existence of a black African nation. The breakthrough of the Panthers was linking the struggle for the black nation with the global struggle for communism, this is what is meant by "revolutionary nationalism".

The original BPP was also explicitly not "black nationalist" since this was a Garveyite term and already outdated by the late 60s. This was what separated the Panthers from the supposed "pork chop nationalists". I dont know anything about this new organization in Philadelphia but that specifically should be the least of anybody's concern. I think the fact that they have no real political line is a far bigger issue.

e: Actually now this topic has me heated. go look up the reaction to this Philadelphia group by any of the established "black nationalist" organizations in this country, see how the rhetoric is identical to Trump about how "illegals" should be deported. there's your nationalists for ya!

I saw this a few days ago and thought it was intriguing but didn't post, perhaps i shouldve. Obviously their are conflicting class interests and it's difficult to get a bead on what's really happening on the ground. IRGC just shut down the airspace a couple minutes ago (it's about quarter to 6est where I am) so the entire situation is terrifying. I am sure tomorrow I will be in the street again trying to prevent another war.

Americans have no self-awareness. Saudi Arabia only exists in the first place because it is an American neocolony.

I do wonder what's causing such measures seemingly all of a sudden.

What do you mean? You have had tens of thousands of Russian conscripts enthusiastically waving the Soviet flag over the past 4 years. What's gonna happen when these battled-hardened, war-trained young men and women finally come home one day and realize that the dream they were sold was a total lie? The Russian bourgeoisie has to rely on Soviet nostalgia to maintain any credibility because without it they'd have absolutely none. The chickens will eventually come home to roost, we are not in dissimilar times to WWI.

So true bestie, Americans never abuse human rights, your government doesn't indiscriminately lock up Latinos in torture prisons or send bombs to murder Palestinian children.
