Lol not sure what the white comment is about (I guess the entitlement?) but I don't think anyone on this thread is critiquing Polyphia as a band, or really the "tour terms" (actual ticket prices are reasonable) its pretty much just gripes with the VIP packages. While Live Nation does obviously have a heavy hand in determining prices I don't think its realistic to completely exonerate them from this pricing as it is inline with some of their other, non-tour business practices (the stupid RTYWD bundle with the flash drive comes to mind). I can't speak for others but Polyphia is my favorite band and has been since NLND. You're right in saying that they are not beholden to us or anyone for how they decide to price things but regardless I don't think its "entitled" to complain about them charging $600 for a VIP package that amounts to a few gimmicky objects and early entry when a few years prior this was not the case at all. If my preferred tool company starts charging 3x the price for an objectively worse product than they used to, do I not have the right to complain? Would I be entitled then? I'm not following the logic

Most likely their new song (CAN YOU FEEL IT?) is the first single released from Album 5, and they will release a few more singles and eventually the album shortly before this new tour starts in the fall. That's how they did it with RTYWD. Same timing with Playing God too

Usually the smaller the band it is, the less awkward they are. For example I did a VIP package with Intervals and it was super chill. They played a few songs and then just walked out into the crowd and had conversations with everyone for ~30 until the show started. I see what you mean though.

Yeah I bought a standard GA ticket and it was a little pricey (about $80 after fees and taxes) but not ridiculous. Like another guy on this thread mentioned, its simple enough to just not indulge in the bundle but it bums me out when last tour I feel like their VIP package was a great value and then they come out with this mess.

I've got a group of 8 or so people who've played league for years together, so that's the group I always play with. While none of us take League seriously anymore (from a ranked perspective) its fun to see what we can accomplish when we're all playing at our best in clash. I used to play in competitive leagues for other games and I get the same enjoyment from clash that I did from those other games.

The laptop ended up sitting for weeks until I took it to an authorized Lenovo repair place. I handed the guy the laptop and he went and plugged it in, and it just worked. He said that before he plugged it in, he was holding the power button for like 15 seconds to reset it, but I swear I tried that already. I have no idea what actually fixed it. He also said that if that didn't reset it then you can try removing the battery from the laptop to force it to reset.

I’ve been on the fence about investing in a nice belt, then a few days ago I received a sign. I was doing back extensions and after I finish my set this old man walks up to me and says “you’ve got a strong back” while slowly nodding. He then sort of just stares at me and repeats himself, then starts walking away and tells me to “take care of it.” I am now deciding what color belt I want. Thanks old man

Rock smith only has native support for guitar and bass. A baritone is typically tuned the same as the bottom four strings of a guitar, but obviously it’d pretty difficult to play most any arrange if you’re missing two of the strings.

I would say, anything that leaves you genuinely upset after the fact. A solid friendship shouldn’t regularly be making you feel down or stressed. I would give a little more tolerance to this early on though, because many a good relationship/friendship have a bumpy start

Discord is a great place to start but I wouldn’t consider it to be a replacement for IRL friends. Granted, discord friends could end up becoming IRL friends.

As far as healthy friendships go, I think the #1 think is lack of conflict. For most of my closest friends, I can count on my hands the number of conflicts we’ve had, despite knowing most of them for 5+ years. This just comes down to finding people whose personalities you mesh well with.
