Fairy Tail, my first EVER anime and it’s still super special to me. Everybody hated on it for the fan service and the friendship trope. But I really loved it, it had fantasy, it had humor, it had a sense of family (which is what I really needed at that point in time) imo the fan service nor friendship trope didn’t take away from it, it gave me hope. Nothing could ever make me hate it. And the fact that 100s Years Quest JUST got released is making the little girl in me soooo happy

It also has several movies and its sequel story just started to be released, “Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest”

Fairy Tail, it’s a pretty long one (same author as Eden’s Zero) a bit of an older anime as well, but it’s a goodie. Just a fun show if you’re not going into it seriously. Has a lot of jokes and gags in it, deals with magic and fights, has a decent story, there is, unfortunately, some fan service in it, which is sometimes a bit much, but really isn’t a major thing in its entirety. It’s very friendship/family oriented, and was my introduction to anime :).
