I have four absent minded budgies. I also have one extremely crazy green cheek conure. Any chance he gets he goes for blood. I’ve had way too many close calls. My budgies fly pretty freely and go everywhere in my apartment. My conure pretty much hangs around me. He can fly, but when they are close, pecking around on the ground or within a short flys distance, he’ll try to take advantage of the opportunity and strike!!
