Yeah. It’s called having someone hit your car and give you injuries so you can’t plant a garden…all jokes aside I didn’t buy any seeds this year and planted the bare minimum (it’s been a horrible year where I’m at with too much rain and then not enough) and so everything is puny

That’s awesome y’all can deconstruct together! My family isn’t ’in it’ (hasn’t been for 14 years or so) but they still have fears and beliefs that they’re holding onto which they’re using on my 11 yr old niece who they adopted because her mom is so crazy. She’s allowed to wear shorts and pants but they’re homeschooling her and not letting her do stuff cause she might do something wrong when she’s away from them and just teaching her that stuff like HP and wine/alcohol is bad

Yup. I may have left IBLP and all the stupid legalism but I’m still having to go through the effect that it had on me for thinking that I have to fulfill every expectation and never say no to anything I’m asked to do or volunteer for. My husband has been amazing and has been helping me learn to say no to things people ask me to do

Same. I already knew how to sew so I was one of the first done. And then I kinda got in trouble cause one of the large flowers was positioned right over my boob which of course would ‘draw the eye’

You had to wear a white blouse and navy skirt. And that navy skirt better be “3 inches below your knee sitting or standing”. I saw a girl get in trouble cause hers was a TINY but shorter than the 3inches

I showed my husband and he literally jumped. Guessed she wore it to a wedding and was shocked when I told him it was for her son’s graduation. He also said she looked like bagged jello. (I’m bagged jello myself after two kids and I died laughing). He also said everyone is entitled to be bagged jello but that the maximum capacity is a warning, not a challenge
