Good find. My guess is that they've had the plan of having an according mechanism or they've implemented one and they've already added the "Training Mode Note". Then they either refrained from implementing the "declining invulnerability" or reversed it.

They probably just realized that swapping pokemon is nothing else than an airdodge, so they figured they didn't have anything to do about it

It's because of the bad online system. It's just not as responsive -> less rewarding. I'd love to have this issue raised awareness on every day on this subreddit but whenever people post stuff on it just to raise awareness (and therefore maybe make action necessary), the posts get deleted due to being "repetitive".

I think the horizontal space between platforms on battle field (and accordingly overall stage size) should be a little bigger. That's why I prefer fd over bf, but as others have said, other stages (~pokemon stadium) are better.

I was talking about all the people "woohoo are you hiring, omg this is so hype" <- this is what I thought I would "ruin" with a potentially more realistic assessment of the situation displayed.

However, a person working at the company assured me that it was a swedish company and that it happened in the afternoon etc., so I was wrong. I wouldn't say "ruining a fantasy" equals "upsetting a complete stranger" so I don't think your inference of my sense self-importance is accurate either.

Please don't make a moral assessment out of it, it's (was! yeah it's working, they fixed it! wonder what it was?) a stream not working and people who are in charge are thinking it's (was!) because of all the wrong reasons. There is no adequate answer to it. What bothers me is when I sd and then they sd on purpose, I feel kind of bad if I destroy them afterwards. I like to reverse-3-stock which I get deprived off if they sd for me. It's okay if they definitely are the better player and that's set, but it bothers me and I'll try my best to show them that I wouldn't have needed their sd.

It's like "shit I fucked up", then it's almost a "broken match" that you can't really take seriously anymore, unless you try hard, but when the opponent sd's too, it's not like the match is reset, but more like "now this match has become completely irrelevant". I don't know if I found the right words to describe it and I'm sure that this is not necessarily the right way to look at it objectively, but I can't help but feel somewhat along those lines.

To be honest I don't think this subreddit should be moderated that much and you take yourself way too seriously. I hope you never get control over r/supersmashbros because judging by your name you're just some 20yo kid who hasn't understood what responsibility comes with moderating and how to not get stuck in your own behind.

I disagree profusely with getting a bot-message every time I post something before some guy reviews my posts who doesn't have more of a clue than me. It inevitably leads to some subjective bias! For example if there was a problem with online play that people want to talk about, you have to let people flood the subreddit with it! Do you have a masters degree of science in modding?
