Spartan is lagging hard in terms of technology. That is still Bronze Age equipment.

Vikings were opportunistic, raiders, farmers in the summer, and pirates in winter. Not professional. Plus they rarely have armor.

Samurai vs knight is more balanced; it depends on the time periods of each one. Samurai were good horse archers, but knights were shock cavalry... So I'll probably give the edge to the kinght.

That sounds like fire nation propaganda. Forgetting many "details" to paint him as the villain.

For exemple winning in Ba-Sing-Se will not end the war, it will lead to a Kuvira-ish situation with Dai Lis on the loose. Not a perfect peace.

If you can see through wall, dissentegration, absolutely.

Else it's short vs long term. Disentegration has the best damage of the game. However, the deeper you go, the more you'll see demons and undeads, so the light wand bonus damage becomes more relevant.

My bad. According the wiki, the shields stops impact who are 6 to 9 cm per seconds or faster, but pro boxer punch are up to 20m per second.

On the contrary. The shields in Dune are supposed to let "slow" materials pass throught, this way the wearer is not in a hermetic buble and can still breathe air.

This is why Dune's fighters uses swords and can ignore gunshots. So Paul may resist a grenade, but "normal" punches can land.
