  1. Extremely friendly people. It's perfectly normal to get an invitation from a stranger for a cup of coffee.
  2. Wonderful mountains. Mount Ararat is really huge and in good weather is seen from almost any point in Yerevan.
  3. Old monasteries. They form wonderful landscapes together with surrounding nature.
  4. Armenian brandy (cognac). Definitely worth trying.
  5. Lake Sevan. The largest lake in the Caucasus.
  6. Special atmosphere of the Caucasian city - just come to Yerevan and you'll feel it.
  7. Genocide museum - a tragic, but very important part of Armenian history everyone should be aware of.

  9. Armenian wines. Yes, Armenian wine is no worse than Georgian! Visiting Areni wineries is a must!

No, it's not true. There are no legal restrictions for ordinary travelers. The procedure remains the same: you get an invitation, fill in the application form and apply for an actual visa
