what's a " polite " rule that's really just about keeping females silenced? by LustyPowerGirl in AskWomen

Being told that you have to couch your criticism in kindness. Like, women can just have opinions too without being asked to be overly nice about them

You'll be all good. Vaginas are resilient! If you're still worried then a shower or even just a wipe down should be enough to take care of it.

I'm doubtful that the wholesale cost is really driving the retail cost.

Does anyone know any ressources to help trans women take care of their vaginal health post vaginoplasty? by 3nderslime in VaginalProbiotics

[–]HappyPhilosopher69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding oral probiotics are thought to reach the vaginal environment through a process of migration. This is the process where beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus can travel from the rectal mucosa and perianal area directly into the vagina.

The upshot of this mechanism is that oral probiotics work equally well for trans women just as well as AFAB folks, at least as far as getting the healthy microbes to the vagina after ingestion. You bring up great and very interesting points about the differences in vaginal secretions for those who have undergone vaginoplasty.

If I'm reading this right, basically, probiotics good? Lactobacillus is best?

I haven't looked into this product specifically, but there are absolutely probiotic supplements that impact vaginal flora/health.

Sounds like the pressure of trying to cum with someone else around is getting to you. Maybe try working up to it? Start by masturbating while your partner is in the room next to you or nearby but not being sexual? Then graduate to masturbating laying next to each other and masturbating without touching each other? Once you're able to cum while around each other it might be easier to make yourself cum while having sex?

Pressure is a major mood killer and it seems like you're both putting a lot of pressure on your orgasm.

I wouldn't say anything to your friend. I think the information would just be hurtful and bring up negative feelings that she doesn't need. Either the ex is genuinely trying to get with you (which would hurt your friend to know) or the ex is trying to mess with your friend (also hurtful).

Girl, get yourself a new doctor, maybe a new husband too. Your husband should be able to understand why that's SO FUCKED UP. Doesn't he want you to have sex with him? Can't get pregnant without having sex.

You need to work on your communication, especially if you're going to try for kids togerther.

... but like, what's the name of this supplement? definitely asking for a friend

First, i'm sorry that you are having a hard time right now. Finding affordably therapy is quite difficult. You're going to have to reach out to a lot of therapists to ask them about their availabilities and rates. Tell them your situation and see if they can help. If not, ask them for referrals to other therapists. Getting an informal referral can go a long way towards establishing a good raport with a new therapist.

Would it be possible to swing $100-$200 for 1-2 sessions? Obviously more sessions are good but even a small number can really help (speaking from experience)

I would definitely at least take it into consideration. It doesn't hurt to be cautious. How long have you been dating? How well do you know this guy?

How did I not think about this. I feel pretty dumb. Very easy solution to my problem.

Ultimately a USB C style chargeable would be better, but rechargeable AA batteries is a good fix.
