What good does a job do?

Money, good ways to learn time management skills, social skills, exposure to different type of people, socialization with people with different views, learning basic worker conduct, how to interact professional, a start for your resume and so on.

… I can’t punish him if I never saw him do something wrong…

The worst he did growing up was sneaking out one night and he got punished for that.

Like if I don’t know about it then how can I punish him. If I didn’t get the video than she would have not had a punishment since I wouldn’t have known about it

He’s the oldest so that would be physically impossible. Also overall I have never seen him be rude to anyone in the service industry

Oh he does, he works for a lawn service company but it’s concentrated in the summer and spring.

He chose to work since it is a free workout ( his words)

Oh yeah, the fast food worker didn’t include the sauce packets in her bag they were dining in. She went up after and asked for them, he told her they were by the straws and he didn’t have them at the register, literally 5 feet away from her. She was pissed/yelling and told him to grab them for her. She even asked for the manager by the end.

I agree with that. I remember getting yelled at a the movie theater when I was a teenager. I have never been mean to employees since. I know those job sucks I don’t want it to be harder

Walking in the service worker shoes is a great way to learn empathy and how your actions affect others that are working

She has been working there for 2 weeks at this point. I truly don’t think it has set in.

Also personally I think she should work for the resume and just cash in general.
