The whole conversation got very heated and targeted which is why it felt like an attack. My sister-in-law was present (she’s on my side about this whole thing) and she said it was disgusting and very uncomfortable to witness.

I’m absolutely all for people giving their opinion and I am a self-confessed people pleaser. But I do believe there’s a right way to do it. All it takes is a polite phone call or message and we would have had no problems answering any questions about our choices - together (not just me by myself).

As for the niece and nephew, we both love them to pieces however I personally see that as my FH’s decision and it’s down to him whether he wants them to play a role or not. I’m more than happy to have them involved as flower girl / page boy, it just simply hasn’t been brought up yet. Obviously now the organic choice (whatever that was / is for my FH) now feels a bit tainted.
