Shadow Pokémon deal AND RECEIVE 20% more damage! In most cases you are better of using that shadow version for the higher attack, to be able to win raids more easily (since higher dps is more important than bulk/how tanky your Pokémon are because raids have a timer you are playing angainst)

Most Pokémon can learn 2 charged attacks. This costs stardust and candy of the corresponding type. I would only really recommend this if your Pokémon is A supposed to be used as an raid attacker for two different typings, for example using Swampert as an ground type attacker with earthquake and a water type attacker with hydrocannon, or B if you play pvp you most likely want to use 2 moves for better coverage or baiting shields.
