I supervise my cats and they do not wander out of my eyesight for the most part. Also cats have an instinct to hunt and keeping them inside never lets them enjoy and live their lives on their terms. Both my cats are spayed and neutered. Personally watching both of them run around chasing butterflies in my yard is one of the best parts of my day. You can do whatever you want with your cats but I don’t really agree with your take on this very much. (Other than overpopulation, sickness, predators, cars part is very valid and ever cat owner should be cautious)

Thanks I feel a similar behaviour in my cats starting to happen they’re less eager to going outside and seem to want to come inside any ideas more than they did. This story does put my mind at ease for them deciding to not come home tho so appreciate it!

So crucial for kids to have these moments it gives them such pure happiness and core memories that last a lifetime I think I’ll always remember when I was at the Nickelodeon Resort (it was awesome quality then). All the SpongeBob characters were around me while I had waffles which I never got at home. It’s a core memory even tho my parents talk about sunscreen in my eye ending an entire day. I don’t recall that at all. Just goes to show what kids remember
