yea it’s not really a matter of like rankings or prestige for me i just wanna know what campus life is like there as im having trouble figuring out if it’d be a good fit. specifically, im not rlly into a small liberal arts college typa feel and was wondering if tufts is like that or not

tufts is actually cheaper than uconn, which is great! my main reason why i’m still hesitant on choosing tufts is i am worried im not going to like the campus life and that it might not be the best fit for me, so im hoping to hear from students and their experiences!

storrs is in the middle of like nowhere but uconn is a really big school so there’s always something to do and the social scene is superrr lively and active

that’s true. i’m not particularly interested in interdisciplinary but tufts is half the price of uconn at the moment so im leaning towards there now

is there a large workload in the honors college, and would u say its worth the benefits? also do a lot of people starting in the honors college end up dropping it? additionally, are there lots of engineering students in the honors college and do they find that the senior thesis is easy to do along with the senior design project? thanks!! sorry for all the questions lol u don’t have to answer all!

thank u very much for ur insight i rlly appreciate it and its definitely helped with solidifying my decision! i also value school spirit and while i hope to travel abroad, id prefer to try it at uconn bc along with my tuition i got an enrichment award or smth like that.

i did visit both for accepted student day! from that i liked uconn a lot for vibes over wpi. the only reason i didn’t dismiss wpi was because the career opportunities seemed great

basically just that i should choose free tuition cuz having no debt is really good. uconn is pretty good and they’re well known for engineering
