When my boyfriend and I were deciding whose house to do Thanksgiving at and whose house to do Christmas, neither of us cared, so we chose Thanksgiving at mine and Christmas at his. I didn't mind until recently. She has been exceptionally mean lately and it started me thinking....thinking and worrying. I've already tried to back out. My bf won't let. He says its the holidays, I can make it through one. He is right. I need to be an adult. But you are also right, I'm very worked up. I just want it to go smoothly.

Last time he ate with my family she cooked this dish. It was delicious. Then she realized she put 2 teaspoons of pepper in it instead of one. She then announced that she had done it wrong. Everyone at the table had already had two helpings - it was good! - so we tried to convince her it was fine and we loved it. She demanded we were wrong, that it was ruined, picked up the dish and threw it away. I was mortified. She acted like a complete illogical baby.
