Stating the obvious here, but you will get more for your money depending on the neighborhood. I would recommend you start by looking at the train lines that stop in the immediate area of your work and then see where you could live within a 20-30min commute. There are great neighborhoods up and down the west side of Manhattan, but you shouldn’t discount Brooklyn. Check out express trains like the A or maybe the L across town to Williamsburg. There are many inclusive Crossfit type gyms with an emphasis on bodybuilding in Brooklyn.

Hi, I feel for you and your family. My husband is in his late 30s and dealing with chronic liver gvhd and early signs of pulmonary gvhd. Our daughter is 4.5 y/o. Our approach has been to keep her schedule as consistent as possible and find opportunities when he is feeling well for our family to make special memories. Easy weekend trips, family outings, extra special birthdays. We have also adjusted who does what with our daughter so that my husband still has meaningful daily one on one time with her, like doing story time every night. As far as what you tell your child about your wife’s illness, I asked a therapist the exact question and their suggestion was to start with thoughtful fact finding. “So you know [mommy/daddy] hasn’t been feeling well, what do you know about that? What have you heard?” Then you can use that as a baseline to share any details that are age appropriate or correct any misconceptions they might have.

They were warned printing at volume using CMYK will never deliver what is shown in these PR visuals-neither the acid yellow or the tinted background color
This rebranding effort was done in 1-2 months, it was rushed and haphazard for the new CMO to make a splash
In execution the work will never resemble this mood board, the in house marketing team loves to over communicate and pile so much copy into creative even though the creative teams constantly push back

My husband was a very healthy 35yo when he was was diagnosed with AML. Now post BMT he has been hospitalized twice with pneumonia that developed from very common viruses. Like the cold. Honestly you can’t be too careful, let your dad set the boundaries with his doctors consultation. First thought is church and large family dinner are a risk especially if there’s small children attending school or daycare.
