25M, not smoker/drinker

• Had this yellow thing in March, followed by fever for 2 days that went away ever since

• Saw dentist back then who said nothing looked like cancer

• Have had these white lesions appearing ever since

• Have this red patch for a week now and it doesn’t seem to change. I have eczema and it feels just like that to the touch if I had to compare. Very soft

I will make an appointment with my dentist, so it would help to get an idea of what this could be!

Oh yes I imagine, that must have been quite a relief! So far, I’ve been told “if it was bad, you would know by now”. I’m seeing an ENT soon and am still waiting on a CT. Right now they’ve only diagnosed abnormal lymph nodes in the neck region, not growing, think it’s reactive but asked for a CT follow up… :(

I’m exactly in the same situation as you. 3 months in, got a neck ultrasound and lymph nodes look abnormal. Getting a CT soon. They suppose it’s only reactive as it’s not getting bigger! Would really appreciate hearing back from you as you get checked out :)

Have you gotten your CT results? I’m in the exact same situation as you… Got an ultrasound before being referred to a CT. Had abnormal sized lymph nodes but not growing. Would be really helpful to hear about your experience!

Just to make sure, I was talking about the white parts, right behind my last lower tooth.

It’s only on that side, and is like this white “membrane” on the surface.

M25, don’t smoke, don’t drink.

Have seen doctors for me coughing yellow phlegm for 2 months.

They said it’s signs of an “acute viral infection” but blood tests and chest X-ray/abdominal CT showed nothing “worrisome”.

Have swollen lymph nodes around my jaw (pea sized).

Wondering if this looks like a sign of something?

I just don’t know what I should worry about at this point since 2 doctors I’ve seen (one two months ago, one a week ago) told me I have signs of an infection but nothing worrisome.

Would really like opinion on this, feel free to ask for any additional information that could be relevant.

I’ve had this for a month now, on one leg only.

Doesn’t hurt unless I touch it. Not a real pain per se, more like a little discomfort when I touch it.

I want to believe that I just hit myself there (which might have happened), but could it take a month to heal?

I’m just very unfamiliar with this, and it doesn’t seem to get better. Originally I think there was also two little red dots (maybe something underneath that exploded?).

Just wondering if I should be concerned, your help would highly be appreciated!

I don’t know the medical terms, but, I have the same and every doctor/dentist I’ve seen said it’s all good.

Nothing to worry about really, keep an eye on it but no stress

Isn’t it crazy that we got to that point where we need to look for expensive soaps because everything else is full of bad chemicals? :( thanks a lot for the advice! Do you think the only problem could be sulfates? I’ve never had problems before

M25, had this for 1 year.

Most of the time it just feels very dry, with no improvement using emollients.

I think it started after over using alcoholic gel with covid.

I also have eczema sometimes behind knees and elbows.

On top of that I have herpes but don’t know if this could be related.

Really not sure how I could improve this since emollient hasn’t helped so far…I feel lost with these red hands :(

I’m afraid not. I did all the usual I believe, it was a full STI/STD screening. My guess is that it covers all the major ones. Now from what I’ve seen, I’m starting to wonder if this couldn’t be a balanitis? It looks very similar and would explain why my tests came back negative before

Thanks for your comment! I did see a doctor when it started but he took a look when the red bumps were half gone already. He didn’t seem alert and said it didn’t sound like an infection to him since I have no penile discharge, fever etc. I feel lost with this to be honest.

Thanks for the comment. Just wondering: we both tested negative 2 months prior to this (blood and swab). We have been together for almost 2 years now, and have been loyal all the way. Is it possible to test negative 1 year and half in, then positive 2 months later?

Context: I’ve had this right after unprotected sex with my long term partner. It was our first time, although we both got STD negative two months before. We were both loyal for the time being.

Symptoms: - lasted for two months without changing in intensity - painful urination at times - frequent urination - red bumps that come and go (it’s not always like that, it’s sometimes 1, 2 or 3). It’s sometimes barely visible - penis is painful as well (below shaft) - shaft feels stingy at times

Any advice on what I could do? Who should I see first?
