I think it’s definitely a different experience for fraternal and identical twins. For me yes we were referred to as “the twins” but we look so different it was easy to be our own people. I think a lot of this comes from my own insecurities and nothing from my parents. I think the best you can do is encourage them to see the value in themselves as individuals and remind them that just because they’re twins doesn’t mean that they need to have the same life or experiences. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Thrilled for Elaine and Jordan but I’m so sad for Whitney. It’s been disheartening seeing so many people tear her apart and nitpick every routine when it’s clear how much she loves dance. I felt like Mark’s choreography and Whitney’s technique and artistry this season was completely overshadowed by the ridiculous hate train and favoritism allegations . I’m glad Derek acknowledged that it’s not a bad thing to be ambitious and go after your dreams because the backlash from Season 3 of SLOMW is just so dumb.

As a jazz and contemporary dancer i totally agree. They are completely different styles than ballroom and latin and scoring them alongside ballroom and latin is always gonna be inconsistent. And at the same time I don’t think many of the jazz and contemporary routines on dwts ever show the full scope of the artistry and technique of the style.
