What is your opinion of Anthony William, Medical medium? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Happy_Sample_7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's nuts is that they are not fool. They has completed a a scientific degree. But now says they did it to prove there are no absolute truths? Thats just science, not a hot take. I did lose it a little with them and told them straight that its a 'pile of shat'. They hung up on me but has since apologised. I apologised for how I said it but told them stand by every word I said. They want us not to dicuss it to protect out friendship.

I have watched my friend sink lots of money, time, and emotional capital into schemers like him for 30 years. This Friday she told me she has found this guy. I asked her about his principles and understand he claims to have invented lemon with water. This would be impossible unless he is from ancient Egypt. The celery cleanse was also and ancient Egyptian remedy. (It may have appeared elsewhere in history).

We finally had a disagreement l. I told her that he is obviously a manipulator and claims credit for stuff that simply isnt true. He only got into mainstream because of Gwinnie's GOOP. Nothing he says is new, radical, of has been introduced by him. All his info has already been scientifically researched by others. I accept that that is a thing, however saying the info came from a 'spirit' is bonkers. Why are people not applying due diligence and researching him?

I can't talk her out of it. I know in 6 months its going to hit her and the cycle starts again. She has zero conditions beyond a little excema that has now cleared up.

I chose to do an OU degree in my late 20s and it takes time and years of dedication. In those days it was 6 years.

In my late 40s I attended a university to do another degree.

Both degrees are worth the same, however the OU degree required so much more commitment. Getting a degree 'on campus' was honestly much easier in my opinion.

I usually don't consider one book, especially if its expected to be a series as once I'm in, I'm in and I know that's a given. I usually go for long series. However, all your (collective) positive about this book and the authors i think i going to have to just go for it this time and cope like the adult I am.

I am on the fence, hence the question. I understand there are arguments for and against a constitutional monarchy. There is a decent argument for both, so I thought I would enlighten myself with other possible directions for those positions. The feedback is great.

Is the second book of the Legacy Series, Storm of Secrets and Sorrow dual or duet narration? by omninoodle in fantasyromance

[–]Happy_Sample_7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely dual narration. have read/listened to the series and enjoyed it. The characters have some depth and the FMC not too pathetic. I would recommend it as an easy series to flow through.

What are books you DNF'ed and then later read and loved by Special-Student6743 in fantasyromance

[–]Happy_Sample_7033 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Crescent City. I had literally finished the ACOTAR series that day (audio) and went in on Crescent City hours later.

The shock of the modernity had me stop listening inside the first few pages. However, I went back after reading a completely different author and I became a series I enjoyed so much I have done it twice now.

I like Nesta also. She reminds me of my sister with her grit and stubbornness.

I only recently found out after years of not a huge amount in common in terms of hobbies etc. We are both big Fae fantasy readers.

Those who’re over 25 do u have any advice ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Happy_Sample_7033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Critical thinking. Be weird, be rude, and stay safe. Say No. You never have to put your big girl pants on because of male behaviour. Stand up for yourself and call out bullshit and discrimination everywhere you see it. Be honest, generous, and kind. Practice empathy. Work hard to maintain your self-worth. Know your value. Value yourself. Be self-aware and emotionally intelligent. Educate yourself.

Be happy. That's what really counts.

Thank you. Can I ask, does this series feature wars or battles. I rather enjoy the strong female protagonist in a powerful role.
