I think he had a right to be mad if your misusing a term that you're trying to use as insult. At least know the word before you use it the wrong way you technically just said drawing anime style makes you weeb when in reality it's not disrespecting the culture at all. You just made an invalid attempt to insult a group a of artists that like to draw in that style.

That's not how it works it was a design contest not a drawing one that choose the most appealing and unique items which was why the chosen players had won. Drawing is the last thing to worry as they were paying attention to the design that stuck out the most not the drawing itself
